Absolutely loved this hotel!!! It's beautiful, perfect location, awesome lounge with comforts of coffee and water... Crucial for NOLA-ing. Sweetheart cats. This is my new go-to for NOLA. It's made me forget all other accommodations.

John was an awesome welcoming host!!

This was a beautiful and unique place to stay. The staff far exceeded any expectations I had. If I could have changed 1 thing it would have been having to get my things from my vehicle to my room and back. It was a bit of a challenge. Overall it was an unforgettable, amazing place to stay.

Floors were sticky.
Comforter and sheets had stains.
Pillows were hard & not comfortable.
Sink faucet in 1 of the 2 bathrooms was loose.

Decor and spaces were spacious and beautifully done. I really enjoyed how nicely done everything was with antiques, brick, furniture, bedding, etc. One of my favorite stays ever! The coffee and snack room was also incredible! Yum!

attractions.
I would definitely stay here again.

fantastic hotel. The lounge area was gorgeous, lots of antiques and huge rooms and high ceilings. Really a lovely old mansion style area. Our room had a loft. I loved the brickwork and the antiques. Bathroom was small but functional and I loved the walk-in shower. The beds were on the loft area and that was probably my only concern as getting up the spiral staircase was difficult for me. But it was so charming that I’d stay again. I LOVED this hotel. Next time, I’d probably book a larger room without the loft (or at least one with a regular staircase). Included a fridge and microwave. Lovely courtyard with pool that would be great in summer. In the heart of the French Quarter.

Very unique property-loved it. Just a short walk to Bourbon Street!

This is an amazing French Quarter experience, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Also the cats are a welcome touch. The only thing I would even complain about is balcony rooms on the French Quarter are extremely loud. Lesson learned.
10-10 would recommend coming back.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. We stayed in the room on Toulouse St with a private balcony. Room was great with antique furniture. Shower was not great but we managed. If you don’t want to hear the street noice then you should choose a different room.
There is complementary coffee, tea, water and snacks available anytime.
The staff is so friendly and gave us many recommendations for food, music, drinks and sites.
I highly recommended to stay at the Olivier and get a real taste of New Orleans.

It was a perfect stay for our first visit to New Orleans, a very unique experience, looking forward to visiting again.

What a wonderful place to stay! Incredibly unique and just off of Bourbon Street makes it easy to get around the whole neighboring area.

I loved the architecture and history of the hotel. I also loved the 3 house cats, how walkable things were, and how quiet the hotel was despite being so close to Bourbon Street

Olivier House is a very special and charming place. The rooms have a very spacial touch and unique furnitures. The staff is very friendly, coffee is always available in the lobby and we were even treated with a glass of champagne on New Years Eve. The location is excellent. We had a great stay and we super recommend it!

Absolute BEST HOTEL!! My daughter and I were in NOLA for the Saints vs Giants game Dec 17,2023. We had vacationed in NOLA in August 2021. She told me to find the hotel and I wanted to find 1 that was full of New Orleans history. I found this 1 and thought I hope it’s as good as it seems. It is even better in person! After staying there the first time, we decided we would always stay here. It exemplifies New Orleans history. From the time you step in the door you have so many beautiful things to admire. We fell in love with the room we stayed in the first time. This stay it was booked and we had a different but still very nice room. Each room has its own unique style and story. In addition to all this the beds are comfortable and the pillows are so comfortable I’m about to call them and ask what kind they are so I can buy one. I slept so well in the bed there. This past stay it rained all day Saturday while we were out shopping so we used Ubers instead of walking. When we were leaving for the game the guy at the desk got a taxi for us. They are very nice at the desk and quick to retrieve our car

The only complaint I have is we could only stay one night. The staff were super friendly. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. The rooms are really unique and very spacious. We will definitely be staying there when we go back to New Orleans!

Nice place. Clean. Staff was polite and helpful. Private parking and valet. Interesting old building, lots of history. I think its a little haunted. It was nice to walk out and be right on Bourbon St. I will stay there again.

Very friendly service. Coffee, tea, and biscotti in the lounge. Free upgrade for us. Good restaurant recommendations.

The property had a very cool Victorian vibe to it everything felt original and very well maintained, the staff was super friendly and the place was very clean and put together. While it is close to Bourbon Street it felt very safe where we were. All the pictures I saw online don't even do it justice when you see it in person would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family

We loved the history of the building. It was beautiful and beautifully decorated. AMAZING! It was within walking distance to everything! We were in a corner room on the ground floor which was a little noisy. An upper floor toward the center of the building would probably be better. However, it was a nice room and very affordable - that was the trade off. Would stay again!

This property felt like stepping back in time. It is not upscale and fancy, but super unique and quirky. It was a very convenient location right around the corner from the action on Burbon St. Upon check in we met a very helpful desk man named John. He gave us a room upgrade and a list of great places to eat. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Super fun!!!

The staff are wonderful and very helpful specially to my handicap husband. Great place to experience the 200 year old house.

This was a very unique property close to everything, yet very quiet in our room. The room/house where we stayed was very interesting, and our car was safely parked in the courtyard behind the house.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The room was beautiful and felt like going back in time without missing any of the modern amenities. The building has so much character and the staff was always very friendly and eager to assist. We had a balcony on Dauphine so the noise level wasn’t bad at all. I have been to New Orleans many times before and this just became my go to place to stay for all future trips.

My favorite place I’ve ever stayed in Nola! Great staff and amazing rooms

Beautiful old building complete with trees in the courtyard. Great view of the French Quarter and close to everything.

We loved our stay and would not hesitate to go back. However, the housekeeping staff did not stay on top of things. We had to ask for more soap, the beds were never crisply made, and we were given only one hand towel over 5 days. (However, we had loads of bath towels.) These inconveniences were easy to overlook, though, because the quality of everything else about this hotel was outstanding.

A eclectic hotel half block from Burbon St full of charm and great staff. Quiet courtyards offer a nice balance to the hustle and bustle of the area.

Property was quaint, but the strong smell of mildew in our room was bad. Its not brick, its the drapes and upholstery. Might want to replace them.
5.0
The staff are friendly and unpretentious. The cats are a little indifferent lol. The place is gorgeous. I will be back.

Unbelievable quiet hotel near Bourbon Street. A lot of antique stuff made it memorable. Great place for photos.
However, the bathroom needs renovation

I think everyone walking in will be wide-eyed. It is something you have to experience. The propery is huge with multiple courtyards that stay cool during the hot parts of the day and magical at night. The place has more character that the best of the garden district and nearly completely hidden from the outside. Half a block frome central Bourbon st, but no noise upon entering. This was a concern for me because i had read warnings about the night life keeping people too close to the Quarter up at night. My girlfriend wanted to be surprised for her birthday and i can say, with full satisfaction, she was. The staff is always available as you walk in the door and send out a welcome home feeling that words fail me with. You will just have to experience this place.
