The location was awesome! The hotel and staff were average.

The location was perfect for a family. Lots within walking range, but, mostly quiet in the evenings. Staff was super friendly! We’ll be back for sure!

The Inn is in a great location. Great place especially for the price. Housekeeping could have changed out the soap but the front desk took care of us with a laugh and a smile.

The hotel just had renovations, so it was 4 new rooms added on. The AC was brand new, but no one could figure out how to turn it on. Sounds silly but there was no lamp. Huge step up toward the bathroom that I tripped multiple times. The only saving grace was how wonderful the staff was.

Front desk person was amazing but the hotel pictures didn’t match what I seen in person. The room was dirty and dead bugs in the tub. Flys were all over the place I had to get killing them. There were no toilet paper in the bathroom. Also no daily house keeping.

Parking was 5 blocks away. We could not control the temperature of the room and the room was about 78 degrees. One of the tv's did not work at all. Website said there would be a refrigerator and there was not. We had a lot of food that had to be thrown. Couldn't shower as the pipes sounded like a jackhammer. Windows were closed but large gaps in them made it sound like they were wide open. We heard everything and everyone coming off of bourbon street all night long. The deadbolt was just there for looks and did not work or lock at all. We prepaid for this room which was a mistake.

This place is located in the heart of all the Mari Gras action! My family and I enjoyed Bourbon St. a couple of blocks down, we walked to Cafe Dumont, and Harrahs! There are plenty of food options near and lovely shops. We would definitely stay here again!

Check in was fast and easy, the problem came at 2am when my key card didn’t allow me access to my room and I had to call another location for assistance, only to find out none Of the key cards works he had in his possession. I waited yet another 45 minutes while he tried to access the computer system that still didn’t work he had to leave and go back to the other property which he work at to get a hard key to open the door. This is by four been my worst experience For a first experience overall everything else about the hotel is beautiful. You must come see it, but I was just on half of my first day with the discrepancies that I went through.

I booked, I was charged, i received confirmation number and everything. The day before my travel i called several times to confirm booking, necer received and answer. Whe i got there at nights the place was completely closed, no lights, no doorbell, not even a closed sign on the property. I started calling the property and no answer, it was freezing outside and i didnt know what to do withy elder parents waiting outside the inn. The place was on renovations, i never received any kind of notification abou it, i booked it 3 weeks before going, it was not months before. The website didnt mentioned anything, i never recirved an email, nor call, nothing. I was never informed about this and anyways the hotel charged me for 3 nughts and four days that I wasn't able to use. I ended up losing my booking and having to book another hotel after midnight so my family wouldnt freeze in the street. I wanted to have a nice opinion about the inn, since i was excited on previous reviews, but it was a nigtmare.

I’ll start with I forgot my wallet in the Uber. The man let me check in without it thankfully. I think he already knew I was in a panicked state. A gentleman carried all of our luggage up to our room. We asked for extra towels, and were brought an abundance of them for all 6 of us. We stayed at the LaMothe House. And we loved it. The ambiance of the place is just perfect. Between the pool, the fountain, and the overall look of the garden was beautiful as well. Check out was super simple also. We will definitely rent from them again.

Clean, quaint, hotel with friendly service. Wi-Fi was very weak. Great location for exploring French Quarter. Quiet neighborhood.

We actually arrived at the Inn on St Peter to find out it was closed for renovations. The hotel staff was there and were able to inform me that they had changed my reservation to their sister property Lamothe Hotel near Frenchman St. Although we were disappointed that the Hotels.com app had not reflected this change, and did not want to be in a different neighborhood, we did enjoy our stay at Lamothe. Hotels.com did send me an email back a few weeks ago but I had not noticed it.

Very average but nice. Simple, clean, and the staff were all nice.

Boutique style hotel, suites my needs, small but cozy room, comfortable bed, walking distance to all French Quarter attractions and venues, but far enough to get a quiet night's sleep. Recommend

Ms Carol and Claude were wonderful in assisting us during check-in and during our 4 day stay. The hotel is quaint however, it is in need of some repairs. The hotel will be closing for the next 3 months for some much needed renovations. After the completion of the renovations would my husband and I stay here again...the answer is definitely.

The staff were all so nice and happy! Room was clean, and bonus points for having a small little closed in courtyard! Would definitely stay here again.

We loved how it was so close to bourbon st. And shopping as well as a lot of options for food. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us when our air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I believe that the cleanliness could have been better.

Super close to Bourbon Street and everything in the quarter, pretty quiet place when people aren’t yelling outside

Loved the historic feel of the centuries-old building.

Everyone was friendly that we encountered. The room was clean and comfortable! We had access to a balcony easily from our room. It was a fantastic stay, only a short walk to bourbon street and other attractions nearby.

Great for a stay in the quarter. We walked everywhere and paid parking is only .6 miles away

If you stay in a suite your room will be good the two queen beds rooms are very small. Bourbon Street is very dirty. It stinks every day all day. We constantly got lost because everything looks the same.

You have to park a few blockes away. But worthy of a stay to see what you want and black penny is right on the corner.

Great little boutique hotel with distinctive old New Orleans charm. Parking is not convenient, but what can I say, its New Orleans and street parking is sacred.

The room was exactly what we needed, a standard, no-frills, small room in the heart of the French Quarter. Cleanliness was par for the course, but the unexpected guest of honor, a deceased mouse in the hallway, definitely added a quirky twist to our trip. I couldn't help but see the humor in it, but I can imagine it might not sit well with some guests looking for a pristine experience.
Our room had a boarded-up window that blacked out the room, allowing us to recover from the previous night's damage. The bed was a gem - comfortable and spotlessly clean, providing much-needed rest.
However, I must mention an uncomfortable encounter with the gentleman at the front desk during our check-in in the evening. While he did provide information about parking locations, he neglected to inform us about the room's exact location. When I asked if it was up the courtyard and up the stairs, he simply responded with a vague "yes." As a result, my friend and I had to struggle with all our belongings, and he didn't offer to hold open any doors. After lugging everything up the stairs, we realized that our room was not there. Confronting the staff member, who was now sitting in the courtyard watching us, which was very odd, he casually replied, "I'll get you a map" without pointing out where our room was. It was only after further investigation that we discovered our room was actually outside and around the corner. This initial encounter almost soured our experience.

Booked Inn on St Peter, were moved to Lamothe House due to renovations. I'd still like to review.
Beware rm 216 at Lamothe House. If you want supernatural, this is for you. Otherwise, find a different room. We had a 4 night reservation and left after night 3. We told the front desk why we left early, asked for a refund, were told no refunds after 48 hours in advance. Exceptions should be given. One night, we saw a black mass low to the floor floating/scurrying from one room to the next-it was unnerving. The next night, we saw the room next to us illuminate(2 bedroom suite-our friend was sleeping in that room), felt something walk on a bed while sleeping, saw orbs floating on the walls, heard knocks coming from the empty room next to us, and then noticed a considerable drop in temperature in that same room. The activity ramped up as the night went on. Not to mention that there is a bolt in the door that does not bolt. Three women traveling felt unsafe as this room is in the back of the main hotel. We pushed the couch against the door for extra security and found it was filthy under the couch. We packed up, left for the day to do our excursions and decided we didn’t feel comfortable staying another night. That's when we came back to let the front desk know and ask for the refund. In doing research, this room is known to be the most haunted. This was not disclosed to us and I believe it deserves a refund if someone is not comfortable in that environment. I would not stay again

Gorgeous patios, amazing history and super comfy rooms. Only a couple blocks off of Bourbon st meant that we could walk to anywhere we wanted in the quarter!

This is a beautiful property. My wife, adult daughter and myself stayed here for only 1 night but it was amazing. Everything is within walking distance. Parking is always a downside in the French Quarter but still very walkable.

This is a true New Orleans hotel, rooms was good, tucked away in a great little courtyard with outside tables. Access to the upstairs balconies. Walking distance of bourbon street

I loved the fact that it was so close to bourbon street, which made it very convenient. Area was nice and quite, but the rooms weren’t completely clean. They tried. Try to get a room with a view or at least a room that has the balcony shared by 3-4 other rooms downstairs. Upstairs u have the wrap around porch which is quite nice. The toilets and bathtubs need lots of work. If they could fix that, that would make a world of difference.
