Very comfortable room in a great location. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Easy process to check in using the emailed instructions.

I was so pleasantly surprised how wonderful my stay was.

Cute establishment. Make sure to get your code for the locks as there is no help on site. We did (I knew to keep an eye out for email thanks to other reviews) and everything worked swimmingly. Small room but well maintained. Like a B&B without the B.

Beautiful inn with a wonderful view of Saratoga Lake. Room was comfortable and clean. Having the pub attached is very convenient.
2.0
The Nest was advertised as a cute bed and breakfast right on the lake but it was much closer to a couple of rooms in the back of a pub restaurant. The main door to the Inn was open and unlocked so restaurant guests were in the foyer of the actual bedrooms which lacked privacy and security. The Josephine room is directly across from the restaurant dining room so there was close to no privacy and the cleanliness was subpar. The room didn’t seem to be swept whatsoever as we found trash and used floss on the floors and rugs. The actual room itself was dingy and smelled extremely musty/modly, the shower head only worked facing directly to the shower wall which was inconvenient and the light switch was breaking off the wall. Biggest issue we saw was the parking as there were only 3 dedicated spots for 7 rooms at the inn. I frequently had to park in the grass as the connected beach lot was posted as overnight parking prohibited. We could hear clear as day the guests in the room next to us as well as the music and guests at the restaurant all day and all night. I reached out twice to the inn manager for after hours help and didn’t hear anything back. Unless you have a boat docked at Browns Beach, your money is better spent elsewhere.

It was fun and great ! Thanks

The property was very nice and our room was beautiful. I did not receive an email stating the codes for the doors (that I remember anyway!) so that was a challenge since there was no desk there.

It is a cute Inn and was always clean. The only heads up I would give someone, is that there is a bar attached to The Nest and is a little noisy till about midnight. Also the bar patrons park in the spots designated for The Nest, so that was a little frustrating, but it still is a cute place to stay with a nice view.

This was advertised as a cute b&b, It is not! This is a bar/restaurant with rooms. A good bet for not getting a dwi not much more. We did not stay after viewing property.

The room was cute, clean, and comfortable. The showerhead was kinda wobbly and hard to control, and I wish they had a place to hang our towels. Overall it was nice. The room was right next to the road so traffic could be heard but the road was not very busy and it didn't bother us. The restaurant was closed, probably because it was off season.

The room was very clean. The hallway smelled of vomit.
It would be nice to have a place to put luggage and also a surface in the bathroom to place toiletry bag. The staff are lovely.

What a lovely location. The room was perfect as were all staff.

What a great place to stay. I could only imagine staying in the summer when the beach is open. Personnel was fantastic in the restaurant and with checking in.

Very accommodating staff!

we loved the stay and the restaurant with the wonderful live music!! will come back. Thank you!

The walls are very thin. I got to hear the couple next to us having sex all night with the bed banging and the girl screaming. Not appropriate when I had my thirteen year old son with me.

Cute place. We stayed a Saturday night and even though it's across the hall from the restaurant/bar, it was quiet. Would suggest soap for the shower, and real sugar. Otherwise a nice stay.

There was no heat in the room. Just a portable oil heater. Woke up it was very cold.
Couldn't get hot water in the shower. Wasted so many gallons waiting. Noticed later on the top of the showe
r, tiny sign, let rin 5 minutes.
Not a place if you go to bed before 3. Loud bar below! Im mever going baxk.

Loved the location, having the bar and restaurant, the quaint house, the antiques in the room. Pillows were uncomfortable.

The shower in the Josephine room is awkward. Its wide corner shower but its narrow. The head points at the wall. Instead of at you. You need to hold it by hand to rinse. The water pressure is good.

Staff was great and room was cute and restaurant a plus with band

The place was perfect. Bed was comfy and restaurant had live music. Food was delicious. Only problem was the shower.

Quaint lovely room with a beautiful view of the lake! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. We love the decor of the room, Lady of the Lake, very tranquil. The bar music was able to be heard but did not bother us a bit. Everything was well maintained and the coffee nook upstairs was a nice addition. The water for the shower could be hotter but would definitely stay there again!!!!! Thanks!!

We stayed there one night to brake our long drive to skiing center in Adirondack park.
We like this hotel all what we needed was there…bonus is the restaurant below just walk down from your room very convenient.

Very cute spot - I imagine even better in the summer! Room (beachside bungalow) was a little small, but very comfortable. You can hear the live music from downstairs, but it ended promptly at 9:30 every night - so we didn't mind at all. Lots of hiking and nature nearby. Very easy check in and out with keypads to get in/out. We'd stay again!

Very nice place. November is a good time to be there. Summer must be crazy. Nice room. Saturday amazing band at the tavern. We only have good things to say.

Everything is dusty like over one year without cleaning, microwave dusty and not working, under the bed tons on dust and the sealing full of dust, On top of the refrigerator also full of dust, plus the music in the restaurant very loud we couldn’t sleep well, uncomfortable bed to sleep on. It was very inconvenient sorry to say that.
I usually don’t write reviews but this time I have to. I’m sorry owner but it’s not nice to let people styling in a dirty place like that.

This was advertised as a resort but it was simply a restaurant with 7 rooms in the back. There is no where to sit outside or gather indoors except for the restaurant which was locked up and closed. We had to drive to get breakfast. This was our summer destination and it bombed.

This property provided wonderful lake views and dining. The complementary drink was a nice touch. The hostess was very accommodating.

Property was close to the road which made it loud when cars passed.

We stayed in the “high peaks” for two nights. The good: scenic lake view & beach within feet of property. The bad: very small room, no innkeeper on site for any needs or questions which made us feel on our own for anything we needed. But the worst of it all is how noisy our surroundings were. Maybe it’s an older building but, we kept being disrupted by all the noise in the room upstairs and outside in the hall (the property is connected to a restaurant). You could hear everything in the surrounding rooms (ex: people showering and walking) and we did not sleep well because of this. Overall, the rooms were well kept and clean but the complaints listed above outweighed anything good about the property.

Cute inn by the water and small beach. Attached to a restaurant. Have ate there before good food. About 10 minute drive to town and other attractions. Would stay again.

Please get a better microwave.
I liked this property very much.
However, before I came, it took me a lot of phone calls & emails to learn important facts & prepare to check in.
The interface with the public can be improved.
Among the best: a restaurant is right on site.

Great people! Fun place! Beautiful scenery.

They have live music next door in an open tent. They started the sound check at 5 and didn’t stop until 10:15. While it wasn’t unreasonably late, it really took away from enjoying the beach and having some peace. We specifically picked lodging AWAY from downtown to have some quiet and this did not deliver. Wish we had known.

The Inn was nice but much smaller than I expected. It is attached to a restaurant so can be busy at times. There was no one ever at the office so we had to go into restaurant to ask questions and get help with check in. There is coffee and granola bars upstairs in a little corner to make breakfast. The restaurant is not open until 11:00. I could not find a way to regulate the temperature in the room so luckily they had a fan. Room was very nicely decorated and bed was very comfortable. We stayed during the week so it was very quiet. There is a public beach right at the property but it costs $ cash only to use. Shallow swimming area great for kids. Overall was a nice place to stay and beautiful views of the lake.

The Nest was very quaint and comfortable. I would recommend The Nest.

It was a cute location although we were, quite literally, the only people on the property which was disconcerting. No staff whatsoever. I called the # listed to get the code to enter the hotel. The building was EMPTY. The next door restaurant was closed, beach was closed. For August it was so unusual. Room was fine, shower was nice. A keurig with no cream was the only amenity. An empty pastry tray in hallway hinted that maybe there would be breakfast but there wasn’t. Comfortable enough.

Very surprised by the lake view, and room was farmhouse charming.
