Room, staff service, meal, privacy, flexibility great. Feedback, noted small drip to floor, passage from level 2 after leaving lift n walking towards rooms 200 since my room is 202. Used to manage property n am sure heavy rain made me notice it, don't think other quests walking the sane route saw it.

I just loved staying there - I have seen the GPH for years and never had an opportunity to stay, so this was a special occurrence. It did not disappoint - the staff were wonderful, helpful and personalized the experience by remembering us at breakfast the second morning! It is the little things like that, that make the stay so wonderful. Vinaka!

There were some amazing things at this hotel - the ambience, the perspectives etc. Breakfast was amazing - i had fish every day. The staff at breakfast - particulalry the young lady that greets you at the hostess station every day - were outstanding. I had a massage - lovely space and great massage. Pool is awesome. The front office staff are amazing as is the young lady that mans the business center. Just great service. Rooms are lovely and the hotel itself is lovely. Where it isnt great is service outside breakfast and reception - the amount of times i ordered things and they just didnt arrive or if it arrived it was very slow (sometimes 30 mins) and not great. For example one night we ordered a bread basket - it took 30 mins and when it arrived it was a basket of what looked like toast from breakfast. This was at 7.30 pm. The toast was cold and it came with nothing. no butter, oil or anything. we had to get them to come back and ask. Terrible. Who wants a basket of old toast with nothing. I also want GPH to consider the uniforms of the front office staff. The synthetic black outfits dont make sense and it makes sense to me to rethink the uniforms - i dont think they give the right impression.

Just loved to visit the GPH as my Grandfather was part of the team that came over in 1913 to build it so was a special moment for me. Is a truly beautiful hotel and loved our stay

You will feel like you're stepping back into history and being part of it. Colonial days i feel . So many International and local officals coming through thats a Positive. Wifi very fast. Spacious room. Heaps of parking spaces. Close to the National Museum. Close to town as well.

ac n refrigerator did not work. food was thrown away as we did not know how long it was without cold. they did bring a 2nd refrigerator. AC AFTER TRYING TO FIX STILL DID NOT WORK. GOOD STAY OVERALL.

Stay from July 13th to July 17th. GPH definitely has room for improvement in their hospitality department. Staff do not take initiative nor do they offer answers when you ask them questions as simple as menus. Their communication style is not friendly so lacks some personality to be desired. We ordered the most expensive eggs and grilled bacon that should have been cheaper then their overall breakfast. 2 scrambled eggs cost $15.00 and a few pieces of grilled bacon and small hot chocolate to go was $29.00 so breakfast was $44 for a child. When I tried to ask that it didnt make sense, the staff pushed back that is how their system has it. Interestingly enough, was in the lobby with friends talking and had the front desk come by to ask us to lower our conversation because guests were sleeping however the music by the bar team was on and louder to hear so again, question the staffs and their judgement on when to raise concerns. Housekeeping requests takes longer(needed plugs for converters and had to ask several times before we finally got it) Be on alert of the cabs and rates-all rates should start at $2.00 for day runs and $3.00 for evening which would be after 6pm, cab drivers tried to cheat us on the fares not knowing I would be aware of starting meter rate, hotel should ensure driver has it set correct before having guests to sit in the cab. Hotel is at a good location of the city. I liked that water was complimentary as well.
