There is a certain charm here. A very worn facility with just the right repairs and updates. Nothing feels new and modern, while it really is where it counts. We stayed in the garden room which has a more modern vibe and a camper like layout. If you like privacy and personal space this room is better left for someone else. Its garden location is in the public garden, that said there we had no privacy issues and it was quiet. The toilet area is seperated from the bedroom with a sliding glass door, if you have performance anxiety not the best room choice. The outside shower is great, with flow, pattern and pressure that makes it difficult to remember the obligations of water conservation. The AC works flawlessly and sleep was bliss on amazing soft sheets and fluffy comforter. The bed itself is firm but comfortable and though i regularly sleep on an ultra soft bed this was good and probably a treat for my spine. Lastly the staff here has mastered the art of making the guests feel at home. Special thanks to the front desk and cleaning crew for making us comfortable for our unavoidable early arrival and for the security officers assistance in getting us a trike to the bank for cash and back.

This is our 2nd visit in the last year. We love this quaint hotel as it sits in its own small compound and is close to local shops, fresh bakeries and cantenes. The restaurant on site has great comfort foods. The staff is welcoming and always ready to serve your needs. The rooms are spacious and clean. Its easy to get transportation and is about 20 minutes from the airport. We will continue to Visit the Henry when in Manila!
