Like: Nice comfortable pillow. Dislike: 1. Extremely cold room. Why? Violations..room doors to outside are not aligned with frame resulting in sight line to outside and cold air entering. 2. Heating unit cannot be controlled by guest. 3. Stepping from room to outside walkway is too high. 4. Violations of disability laws. 5. One role of toilet paper for three room guests. 6. Towels enough for one room guest. 7. No extra blankets for guests in outside rooms. 8. No security. 9. Front desk too busy talking. 10. Had to explain to front desk exactly why our room needed additional blankets…very difficult people. 11. Not enough staff for the amount of people checked in. 12. Outside lighting violations. 13. Zero lighting for guests needing to park right side down back of building. 14. Handicap parking ? One spot? None for outside right-side of building, and no ramps or elevator. I am not sure if this resort should be even open…thought I was in on a high school outbound trip.

The property was secluded and not convenient to walk to shopping and dining. The room was hot when I checked in, but cooled down quickly. The price was reasonable for the area.

This is a great value! The property is older but well maintained. If you're trying to save a little cash in a town that is EXPENSIVE, then this is a great place to stay!

You can tell this was a beautiful property in its heyday. We weren't told there was a trolley stop there because we would have used it. The staff was courteous but offered no info about the area. We were given a map of the downtown when we asked. There were some info sources lying on the tables I noticed later. The outside pool was still open and appeared crystal clear. The inside pool and hot tub were disgusting - dirty around the edges and brown on the bottom. The area around the pool needed some upgrading and cleaning up. Although we knew there was a pool none of the property's amenities were explained until we asked. I'm a firm believer in tipping but I'll decide what to tip. This "resort" tacks on a $1.50/day/person for housekeeping to "make it easier on the guest". I realize it's a nominal amount & some people don't tip but I resent being told it makes it easier for the guest. We were there (3) nights and didn't use housekeeping. I would've tipped anyway but didn't leave an extra amount. Overall, it was a nice stay - quiet. It's frustrating to be charged the prices per night and getting a hotel that is worth so much less. This is across the board - not just here.

Not bad but the bed we had definitely needed replacing matress was awful to.sleep on. Pool was nice an the hot tub to but the outside got tub needed some work. Sauna was locked so im proably thinking it was also broken so a little love and that place could be amazing...

Why is it the the state of Maine can’t update there Hotels it’s like 1970 all over with 2023 prices. Old toilets sitting on the floor steps instead of Elevators , loud creaky floors above you . Rooms you can hear people talking outside and inside . If we have to pay 2023 prices update the Rooms to 2023

We had an upstairs room in the back of the complex. It was difficult carrying luggage up and down the stairs. The room was ok although the TV was small and not high definition.

Poorly kept and in rough shape. Break out the checkbook and put a bit of TLC$ back into the property.., to advertise 2 hot tubs and neither are operating? Drop ceilings in the bathrooms? Happy to get out of here

Unfortunately the weather was wet, and we didn't get to experience any of the outdoor amenities. The room was clean and comfortable, but showing its age. The front desk people were very welcoming and helpful.

This hotel has seen it’s day It is outdated and tired The floors are uneven and huge red stain on rug with old worn blankets on bed Stale, musty smelling rooms with old refrigerators in the room Overheard children in pool diving down for ‘fake fingernails’ they found at the bottom of the pool There is an old flip flop on the roof of the entrance to the hotel with weeds and greenery coming out of the gutters

The Rhumb Line is a great place. The vibe is great and the location is great. The food court is a treat and the company at the Rhumb Line is friendly and warm. But the lack of maintenance in the rooms is a problem.

The room was very clean. It was nice to have a choice of an indoor or outdoor pool. There was a firepit area and covered pavilion with picnic tables so you could eat outside if you chose to! They need an elevator. We were on the third floor and it was difficult to get the suitcases up the stairs with a bad knee and back!

For $250 an night (high season?) I was not pleased with the room. The facility is super dated and worn and the room was very dusty along the bottom edge of the furniture. The staff was friendly, I just feel that is was not worth the money.

Out door and indoor pools are the biggest benefit of staying at this resort. The indoor pool is very warm and offers great activities for rainy days. The outside and inside hot tubs need to be cleaned better. The restaurant has great food, but a dated ordering system which increases wait times in line. The carpets in the stairwells were pretty dirty. The overall stay was very great however, will return
