The Senate Hotel is like an upscale Bed-and-Breakfast.
Very nice and accommodatingstaff.
You share a bathroom and shower, there’s a community kitchen with everything you need to cook.
Very quiet. Excellent neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants around.

It's a weird but great little hotel, provided you read what it is and have reasonable expectations. It's shared bath, and the rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. For the price you pay, it's more than fair. Don't book it for your romantic get away, but if you want a good price on a great location and the room is just a place to sleep. It's perfect.
