Novaliches is not an inspiring area of Manila. As a visitor, I doubt you come here unless you were meeting friends or had a business reason to be here. I was visting friends. There is nothing in the way of food and entertainment to excite a visitor. It is quite a run down area. However, the SOGO hotel was a surprise, being well presented inside. Smart clean room. The one surprising fact is having no windows, so you are never sure if it is day or night.
I would stay here again if necessary. They offer a reasonable room service menu and it is brought quite quickly, usually within 15 minutes. . For any decent shopping or eating, you need to go on to SM Fairview... 10 peso by Jeepney or 200 by taxi, if you can find one..

The hotel was small. Entrances and hallways are narrow. Good in public safety for customer to book a room. Don’t have a good value of food in the menu. If an individual/group are to stay for temporary rest it is recommended, but for long stay such as quarantine purpose, I highly not suggest to book this hotel. Overall opinion, 3 out of 5 I will grade the hotel I have book on.
