Had a delightful stay. Wish room service could send up cocktails by the party bowl!

Our experience at The Standard High Line in New York was disappointing. As a group with four rooms booked, including the suite, none of us were satisfied with our accommodations. In the room we stayed in, the bathroom had black tiles and no light, with visible mold. The bathroom was directly in the room with no door, and there was carpet right outside, which gets wet while
you’re in the shower. Overall, our stay was not enjoyable, and we would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. I was on the 10th floor in a jr suite and had an amazing view of the Hudson. Room was clean, but carpet was wet, likely from previous guest using the tub. It wasn’t worth changing rooms I just put a towel down. I slept like a baby but earlier in the day when I tried to take a nap, the music from the club upstairs definitely was distracting. Overall a neat hotel and I would book again.

Simply impeccable. Every little detail is well thought out. Always happy when returning and it never fails. Food, service and room are spot on!
Thank you for a great stay, as always.

Check in & check out were effortless. Room clean. Location is grand. Only negatives, they ran out of umbrellas. Fortunately we found one down the street

Pro: the room was exceptionally quiet - as a light sleeper I anticipate poor sleep in a NY hotel room but this was amazing. Con: the room was small, the bed low and the clear glass walls of the shower, which is in the main part of the room may not suit everyone. Note that there is an additional $30 facilities fee (non-optional) per night for 2 bottles of water and WFI.

The location and hotel itself are fine for a mid priced stay but the staff was super indifferent and rude about everything. The showers/bathrooms are super outdated- the handle on the shower kept falling off, they don't do dinner room service some nights of the week AND I had an emergency/checked out a whole day early and they were not flexible at all about refunding me. Won't stay again unless there are no other options, even the Freehand is better in DTLA tbh- the only reason to stay here would be the pool but the Freehand has that too.

Such a beautiful and clean hotel. In my reservation I stated that I was celebrating my husband’s birthday as well as our 15th year anniversary. When we go to the room, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne, a little cake and the sweetest note. This made our stay extra special. Thank you Standard Highline for an exceptional device.

Room was great and views incredible. But after visiting the 17th floor gym sunday night, I was trapped in a mob, related to some party that was happening, that was literally yelling at security guards and calling the police and somehow the elevators were not operating at all. I had to literally walk down 11 flights of stairs to escape, only after pleading with a security guard to show me a way out of this. Hard to believe and not good.

Loud music until 6 am in the morning from the surrounding clubs!!!

Perfect location. Clean and well designed rooms. They are on the small side, like most hotel rooms in Manhattan, and could use a little more storage space but otherwise it’s a perfect place to stay.

I would definitely stay there again everyone was polite

Great views from the 13th floor.
But, the room would be better with a higher bed, a reading chair, more pillows, a blanket, and some streaming channels for the tv.
Honestly, for the hefty price — a coffee/tea maker would be nice too.
It is not cosy.

Heat wasn’t working in our room n parking was hard or expensive..

Garbage on the floor of the room when I arrived. Very drafty and cold. Bed too low. Shower and sink area had no door. Unclear what was free vs. paid in the room. Dated and a bit worse for the wear. Small. Could hear rooms above and next to me. Loud vent that can’t be shut off in shower area

the room was noisy from elevator vibrations, then in the morning from strange noises, i guess from the showers / water pipes being used.

We were staying at The Standard because we had some work happening in our apartment in the neighborhood while we were out of town. The insurance required a hotel in our zip code. Our flight returning was delayed because of the weather. When we tried to cancel we were informed we would have had to cancel 48 hours in advance. Unfortunately we did not know about our flight delays until 1 hour in advance. We did eventually get to the hotel in the middle of the night after all bars, restaurants and room service was closed. The agent from Hotels.com was great in trying to help us cancel the room. It was the Hotel that was none responsive.

I was excited to try the hotel. The mini bar and table in the room were dirty and scratched. There’s nowhere to put a suitcase and no hooks, anywhere, for towels. Won’t stay again.

mandy at the front desk was absolutely the best receptionist i’ve ever interacted with and we’ve stayed at many hotels over the years.

Amazing location. We were upgraded to a studio with amazing views and huge space, floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast at the Grill restaurant was wonderful too!

The hotel itself was excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful, although it was let down by the quality of the dining area and general food quality. I did not regard the food to be on the same level as the quality of the hotel.

Noise of the downstairs bar every day. And! It's super noisy in the morning. The upstairs renovations start at 8:00 every morning, and I'm going to be insane! Why you let people come to live in if are renovating? Going crazy right now, so noisy.

Very comfortable room in a quiet part of NYC. Room decor is very nice. Room size is large with big windows for nice views. Shower was the perfect pressure and temperature. Bedding was high quality soft linens and bed was the perfect firmness.

Really nice hotel and our suite was beautiful! It was the Hudson studio junior suite which I had booked weeks in advance. I was just disappointed when I checked in around 7:30pm and get to my room and it was not cleaned, mind you check in was at 3pm I checked in 4.5 hours later. The night manager Savanah was very nice and offered to put me in a different room but they didn't have any rooms with tubs left and I’m sure weren’t priced for the one I had reserved and paid for already so I told her I had a dinner reservation and I would just come back and she promised it would be ready and gave me $150 credit to use in room service or dinning. I used it for breakfast the next morning for about $70 dollars. The next day I saw a charge for about $27 dollar on my credit card for some things we drank in the mini bar but that should’ve been deducted from $150 credit they had gave me for the inconvenience. All in all it’s a really nice hotel and the suite we stayed is a must get if you stay there.
