Wonderful, we’ll kept. Furnished beautifully. Breakfast was great. Freya the pup was awesome and friendly. The mountain was fogged in but if it hadn’t been the large window would have provided a birdseye view. Private bath with fluffy towels. No TV and you are not permitted to wear shoes in the house. Take slippers.

This is an excellent property. The house is exceptionally clean, cozy and safe. The view of the mountain landscape cannot be beat. It made my first trip to Alaska (I’ve now been to all 50 states!) that much more memorable. Tim — the owner — is a very nice man and very hospitable. I cannot say enough positive things about this property. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Talkeetna the next time!

This is a hidden gem, nestled in the woods with beautiful views of the Alaskan Range. The Inn Keeper, our host, was full of suggestions of what to do in the area. She was a concierge, chef, and great conversationalist. The Inn was like staying at a good friend’s beautiful home. Yet, we still had plenty of privacy.

My stay at the inn was excellent the host was very informative prior to my arrival and let me know about the conditions of the drive way and even offered to Re ambers me if I did not feel comfortable drive up a snowy drive way. Provided an excellent breakfast the following morning. The accommodations were well maintained and very clean.

This place is a really special, top-notch, hard-to-beat, extraordinary place to stay. From the really caring, thoughtful, and personable service, to the breathtaking views, to the comfy spaces, to the close access to town, the Denali Overlook Inn is second-to-none. I stayed with my husband and daughter, and we all were wow-ed by the wonderful experience the owner, Tim, his inn-keeper, Maleia, and the delightful young woman who cooked everyone a delicious and full continental breakfast. We loved talking with the other guests in the common space and also having quiet time outside being mesmerized by the views. This is a really special place that’s constantly full. I highly recommend it!! Grab a room if you find one is open!!

The most perfect stay with the most amazing views. Tim, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. Peque prepared delicious breakfasts every morning and made yummy cookies everyday. Maleia made sure we were comfortable and communicated with us before and during our stay. The Inn is beautiful and the property was very well maintained. Each of these staff provided us information of things to do and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our stay was the best. This had to be the friendliest place with the most beautiful views of Denali and wild life.

Maleia was the most amazing host we’ve ever stayed with. Her ability to anticipate our needs was amazing. She genuinely cared about our experience there and went above and beyond to help us make accommodations. She made our stay perfect. And, of course, the views from the Inn were stunning and breathtaking and worth every penny!

Tim, the owner, gave personal tours of the property that were exceptional. The backyard was not only an area to look upon the Denali mountains but every night location for a great fire and conversation. As a pioneer myself in the early 90’s b&b owners, attention to visitor needs was most prominent. If they had a rating system higher than 5 stars this property would earn this rate rating.

We arrived late and the host was gracious to wait up, grab some bags, and lead us to the room. The room was amazing. Huge windows overlooking forever- you can sit in a chair, coffee in hand, and look for miles. In the morning breakfast is being made and the smells are divine. The meal was fantastic, conversation amazing, and the one quick night was lamented to not not be just one more. One other thing- don’t overlook the town of Talkeetna. Not a one stop out of the way. Get out of your car and walk around- it’s crazy amazing.

Amazing! This was a very last second trip for us because the family we were supposed to stay with ended up getting COVID. We feel extremely lucky they had an opening. Everything was amazing- from the property to the breakfast. Can’t say enough good things about Denali Overlook Inn. If you have the chance to stay here- take it!
