When we got there the person at the front desk said that the facility was booked solid and that he had only nine rooms available because he forgot to tell hotels.com that there was a renovation going on and could not help us. Also he said that he had to charge me himself for the room even when I had already paid through your website. This is why I had to reserved another room at Lone Star Suites I just hope you are not going to double charge me for two different hotel rooms.

When we checked in, the first thing we had to do was call maintenance to the room to unplug the toilet. No clue what the password was for the internet, as it was not posted anywhere inside the room. All ground fault outlets were thrown and wouldnt work. And the tv remote barely worked. On the up-side, both the front desk clerk and the maintenance man were very friendly and helpful.

The room was full of bugs, in the night they walk over the bed and bother all the night. Every night I had to put bugs killer spray to avoid the bugs come to the bed.

We needed a hotel that was pet friendly with a kitchen as we were displaced due to Hurricane Harvey and our stay would be more than a few nights. This was the very last room in miles, so we booked it. This hotel was exactly what we needed. It is a working man's hotel. The rooms are inexpensive and several work crews were in and out. With the exception of one loud neighbor who partied all night, and the hotel only offers basic cable TV, no major networks like CBS, etc., this hotel was fine. Had the neighbor been a few doors down, I wouldn't have noticed at all. Had the TV been real cable with major network news, we would probably have enjoyed our stay much more. That was the only objection. We couldn't find out what was going on in the world during the aftermath of a hurricane in the area. Had we stayed only a few nights, it wouldn't have mattered. Were were there a few weeks. The staff was excellent, accommodating, and super-friendly. Couldn't ask for better management. If you need a no-frills, basic accommodations with a kitchen, this place is ideal. We'd book it again. Nice folks.
