Nicer than what we thought it was going to be. It was a good time and nice place!

Room was clean but TV didn’t work. No seating to read a book. Door to adjoining room opened freely and couldn’t lock from our side. Towels were very hard, bed was overly soft. Coffee was out at breakfast and no replacement brought in. No dresser or drawer for items to be stored away. Not a good value for the money.

I'm only reviewing to let you know that even tho I did realize the rate was non refundable, I am disappointed in the inflexibility of this. We had to book something in the area quickly due to a family member being hospitalized and weren't sure when she would be released. When she did get released so we could get home and book a surgery we didn't need the rooms anymore. Even with these emergency circumstances we are stuck with the cost of the unused rooms in addition to the hospital costs and loss of vacation time. Disappointing to find so little empathy and zero flexibility in this situation.

Place is decent, location is really nice for close to things to do. The dock with the property is nice. Unfortunately there’s a ton of noise from people in the parking lots around the property and the road. The various honking was insane. The parking lot has one entrance the bike path right between it is kinda dangerous you about get hit all the time. Parking with no lines so people park chaotic. And I’m not even sure where your supposed to park with a boat trailer.. which is insane considering this place revolves around a lake. The rooms are kinda strange. The only window which everyone who walks by can see though if it’s open maybe put some fricking one way tint or curtains?? The tv is a nightmare literally took me 20 min to fix. The price does not reflect the rooms. The property it’s self is a great idea. But seriously. Put some signs up so if people want to stay with their boats there’s a place to park the spots I’m assuming meant for that aren’t marked so complete airheads take up the only trailer parking spots that would work. And actually enforce people not parking there for the love of god. The breakfast is literally waffles and some bagels not great. Honestly for the cost of two nights it’s insane what they charge for this. If your older there’s a lot of stairs to this place I wouldn’t recommend it. I never review places but this place needs some serious infrastructure work. Don’t charge a resort fee if your allowing 50yr old people to honk in a parking lot at 6am

The women at the front desk when we checked in were amazing. The young man at the desk when we came to him with TV. Connectivity issues was very helpful, despite not being able to solve the issue. It would appear there is a systemic issue in your Roku connectivity.
May I suggest when you get someone excited for a free breakfast that you clarify for them what their expectations should be. The excitement level for the free breakfast offered to us did not match the offerings.

A different hotel experience in room design and decor. There was no one at the service desk that was locked up during the night. There was a phone number to call listed on the door if assistance was needed.

Really nice stay, room was well appointed, had a fridge, microwave, and a good overall setup. Very happy with this stay and will stay again. The breakfast options needed some improvement, but great hotel

The room was unigue and very large. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The only thing that I feel was dissatisfying was the traffic noise. Our room was near the main road and the traffic noise was easily heard. Otherwise I totally recommend this hotel.

So clean, super happy and chill atmosphere, definitely know you’re on vacation with the lake right there, peaceful areas to sit including a nice dock on the lake. Ahhhhhh then to sleep in n the comfiest of beds in a nice cool room… YES. Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff, sights and good smells with great vibes- wish I could live there. A

Advertised breakfast included, but only on certain days(not when I was there). Trouble with TV and several staff did not know how to work it. Never checked back with me to see if I needed more assistance. No tea available in the rooms. Only coffee. I asked for tea, they said they would provide it, never appeared. I would not book there again.

Property is a good location to where the East and West Okoboji meet. Has a smack shop with burgers (and love the Lobester rolls in the summer) and a small tasting bar. I have stayed more than once and hope to back again in the future

Our stay was great! The size of the room was unbelievable, and the beds were so comfortable. A nice touch are the gas/wood fire pits that are available to guests. We would definitely stay again when we're back in the area.

Rooms were exceptionally clean, however the second floor is not handicap accessible so anybody with knee, hip, or ankle issues will struggle getting up the steep steps.

Very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Check in process was quick, staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Just a short walk to the lake and the fire pits on site were the perfect place to wind down at the end of the day! Will most definitely be staying here again!

The whole property is beautiful. Food and drink are just steps away and there is a dock to sit on and enjoy the lake.

This place was amazing ! Logan helped us get checked in and was so nice . The grounds were great- gas fire pits, fire pit - wood supplied , great breakfast room, rooms were very nice, clean and roomy - I liked the outside access no hallways to walk down. They have a small area for kake access and can even tie a rented boat to their dock .
