Clean hotel, room very comfy and clean. People above us making too many noises like walking and throwing stuff on the floor late at night. Nothing that hotel can do for that but, breakfast was a disappointment. Waiting for over 30 minutes to eat scrambled egg and pancake machine down for a while. Last day was the juice machine that was down. Other than that very good and clean hotel and friendly staff.

Staff did not make up room, even after requesting it, their excuse was that the tag was on the door, which was taken off after breakfast and verbally requested for the room to be cleaned. The TV dies not access to Netflix, but outdated.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was super clean and spacious. All the toiletries were supplied. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body lotion. Warm cookies at check in and a delicious full breakfast in the morning. What more can you want.

Upon arrival when checking beds there where a lot of hair on sheets notified front desk and was told housekeeping has left for night I was given clean sheets to make m own bed very disappointed with this for the price I paid

We received no maid service, returned to an unmade bed and overflowing trash. The front desk staff was rude, unprofessional and completely lacking in customer service. This caused out to check out a day early although we were told we were not able to receive a refund/ credit. l we will never stay there again .

I booked a king sized room at this hotel. When I arrived the front desk employee female, advised she could not allow me and my wife to stay inside the kind bedroom that we booked because we had 2 infants with us who we brought play pens for. This hotel advertises baby cribs on demand etc; however, this employee switched my room to a double queen and swiped my card without giving me any information on what she was charging my card for. This was me and my wife’s anniversary trip and it was ruined by this employee as soon as we arrived to Helen, Georgia. When checking out the same employee was at the front desk and rudely retrieved the room cards from me and stated “ you can go”. If you going to have a crappy attitude try not to bring it to work. Other than my experience with this employee everything else was ok but I will not recommend or stay here again.

I did not get the room i requested a couple months ago.The hotel said it was common when u book on expedia to not get the room you want we booked King and got 2 queen.that was dissapointing.but other than the hotel was wonderful

This is a really nice hotel. Chris was very friendly and helpful at check in. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Within walking distance of Helen shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The Holiday Inn Express is an extremely nice hotel. Ky wife and I enjoyed everything about the Hotel. Easy walking distance to everything and the staff was extremely friendly. If we ever return to Helen that will be our place to stay. Regretfully we had to leave a day early because I forgot some medicine at home,

This is a clean hotel with a great breakfast and central location. I’m a details kind of guy and really appreciated the simple overlapping design of the black out curtains that leaves no gap for light to come in. Why in 2023 other hotels can’t figure this out is beyond me.

Nicely kept, very clean, helpful staff. We kept hearing the people above us walking or opening bathroom/closet doors- seems like there needed to be more insulation between floors.

We paid $441 for 1 night and what we go was one of the worst hotel stays EVER! The elevators were dirty and slow and once we got to our floor it sounded like a 150 year old boarding house as you walked down the hall. EVERY step you took the floor creaked as if it were made of wood. Once inside the room that sound was amplified and for the next 8 hours you could hear every step every person took on that floor and above!!!!! Secondly I have never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have blackout drapes so as I lay in bed if got to stare at an extremely bright street light across the street through the flimsy sheer curtains. I eventually had to take pillows and stack them up on the nightstand to block out the direct light. Bed was super uncomfortable! I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and have always had a wonderful experience! This was NOT one of them. Need to bulldoze that hotel and start over! Our room was clean and staff was friendly.
