The hotel is not the most convenient to Hakuba town, but it is quite and there is a shuttle to two ski resorts (limited to three times a day, each way).
The breakfast is a great way to start the day and the onsen is a nice place to relax after a day of skiing.
The rooms are vintage charm, but the staff are so very friendly.

When I made the reservation, I chose the hotel based from what I have seen in the website. However, I was very disappointed because the room we got was not as expected. The building was very old and untidy with NO private toilets which was NOT clearly defined in the Booking Confirmation. Also, the bath was in the other building across the street when it was clearly define in the Booking that there is a Private Bathroom and a bath tub.
LUCKILY, there were available rooms in the Main Building but I needed to pay an additional cost as an upgrade. IF THERE WERE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE IN THE MAIN BUILDING FOR US TO TRANSFER, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT DISASTER AND MY VACATION TOTALLY RUINED!!! If this will happen again, I promise I will not use Hotels.com again in the future.
