Our recent stay at the Marriott Marquis was amazing overall. The property, amenities, and experience were wonderful. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with our reservation, including being charged twice for our suite and not receiving the exact suite we had originally booked. After several back-and-forth conversations with staff, the situation became quite frustrating. The issue was still unresolved.
Thankfully, Anisa stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She took ownership of the issue, escalated it to upper management, and made sure everything was handled properly. What truly stood out was her exceptional customer service, even after the matter was “resolved”, she went above and beyond by sending complimentary goodies and a bottle of wine to our room.
Anisa’s professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference. While the booking issues were disappointing, her dedication to making things right is the reason I would consider staying here again. Thank you, Anisa, for providing outstanding hospitality and reminding us what great customer service looks like.

The view from our room was stunning. This is the cleanest hotel I have been to in Houston area. I am so impressed by the efforts put in to keep this facility so clean.
The downside was having to go from 28th floor to the lobby to use the microwave oven. One on each floor could make a whole lot of difference.
Above all, we had an excellent time in this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Houston Marriott Marquis! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay.
The restaurants and bars on the property were fantastic, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Texas-shaped lazy river and pool area. It was such a unique experience and made us feel like we were truly on vacation. The pool service was outstanding as well—attentive, friendly, and quick to help with anything we needed.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return for another staycation!

Starting with front desk, VERY accommodating and polite! Rooms and pool were clean and enjoyable! Pina coladas were the best I’ve had! Check out a breeze!
