Great small, family owned wellness hotel with all the goodies. Breakfast was nice, however, it's only starts at 8:00am. So if you were arriving from California and you are up at 5:00am, and very hungry, you should go to downtown Siofok to grab a bite at Lipoti Bakery, they open like 5:30am.
Going back to the Hotel, service was nice, knowledgeble staff, clean and comfy rooms. Television is old style with no English broadcast (CNN or Eurosport).
This hotel is not near the Balaton Lake but it's a short drive like 10 min.
You should stay here if you don't want to stay by the Lake with all the noise and cars, honking, traffic and night life.
This hotel is excellent for a getaway, to chill, to get around Siofok, to discover local wine and great Hungarian food.
Just a hint: don't eat anything on Petofi Setany, we have experienced pretty bad food there.
Eat somewhere where they only offer Hungarian food, not both Gyros and Gulash Soup. Just a suggestion.
Consequently, this Hotel is a great value for your buck. We will stay here again next time.
