I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was big, bright and clean. Comfortable memory foam bed. The pool was very clean and the public spaces were welcoming. Lush gardens on the property. I liked its relaxed, simple atmosphere as opposed to crowds at the nearby resorts or the cool distant formality of a large hotel. Complimentary coffee every night on the patio. I noticed the hotel was not full during my stay and that was fine with me. I got by with my broken Portuguese but for some a translator would be necessary.
