We were a little late when booking hotels for Porto de Galinhas and hence chose this hostel. It was an OK stay but not more. We had a private room which was clean overall, however, our bedsheets were dirty. Upon request, they were replaced. The water temperature could not be regulated but as it was hot outside the temperature fit our needs. There was only one key available for our room and therefore there was no electricity when we left the room. Hence, we could only use the air conditioning for a short time, as we cannot sleep while an AC is running. This is not the hostels fault, however, in other hotels we have the possibility to run the AC during the day and shut it off during the night. This was not possible here, thus it got very hot during the night. The breakfast area was a little unhygienic, however we have high standards with respect to this. There were a lot of flies and the tables were not really clean but apart from the food was good.
For the comparably low price, the hostel meets the standards. Nevertheless, a little more convenience would have made us enjoy the trip more.
