A good base for visiting Mechelen. Only 10 minutes walk from the main square in town. The apartment we had was spacious for the two of us. Lift to all floors which is handy for middle agers like us. Hadn't been aware of the secure parking when booking through Expedia - but as there was space available, we paid for this facility rather than parking a car full of luggage on the street (paid parking on meter which would have needed fed every few hours). Bright and airy apartment with basic but adequate facilities - what was needed. (No AirCon which might be a thing for some). Balcony door opens wide for fresh air and breeze (but also lets in the flying biting insects which can be a pest at this time of year).
Overall we were happy with our first stay here. As we hope to return to Mechelen in the future, we will likely check availability here first next time. Thanks for making us feel welcome!
