I love that there is an indoor gym and indoor pool. The suite is absolutely worth the spend and the surrounding area is really nice. Just be cautious while out and about.

Great stay. Loved the extra large room. Checkin was easy. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Evening bar service was not good. Staff seemed they'd prefer to be anywhere else. So, we took our business elsewhere after that.

A good place with a great location. But not sure how a 4 star hotel has no room service and charges customers a ‘destination charge’ which is not mentioned in the tariff.

My sole criticism is that the toiletries provided were highly unpleasant, too floral, scent too strong. The smell made me nauseated. Try something citrusy instead. I was also a little disappointed that the bar closed at 11:00. Otherwise an excellent stay. Loved the room! Staff were universally helpful. *Next time* I’ll bring a bathing suit!

This was my second stay in 60 days. The rooms are spacious. Live music in the lobby/lounge area exceptional. All transportation options are available. Dining options are incredible and close by. Lighting in the room needs to be improved. It is incredibly difficult to read, pick out clothing colors or put on makeup between dusk and dawn. The restaurant within the hotel, Mayrose, needs to list menu items that have nuts. I ordered, and double checked with staff, a nut free menu item that had nuts in it when delivered to the table. It was handled quickly and satisfactory, but my confidence was shattered. We did not eat here again.

Pictures are different than whats actually in the room. Was expecting a larger bathroom with a walkin shower and received a small bathroom with a shower/tub combo. All surfaces of room was dusty and found hair in the shower, as well as on one of the beds. The whole property looked like it could use a cleaning, with the exception of the bar area. Super cute and friendly bartenders. We did call to address our concerns and it took about 3min for someone to pick up at the front desk. They told us a manager would be giving us a call, but never received one. They had our entire bill wrong at check out as well, but the gentleman at the front desk was quick and friendly with helping us out. I wanted to like the property but sadly wont be returning or recommending.

Absolutely zero air flow in the room even with the AC turned on. I called down for a fan twice one evening and they kept saying they would send one up. 45 min and no fan later, I called down a third time to see what was going on and the front desk said they don’t offer fans. Had a miserable night sleep two nights in a row. Either fix the AC or add fans so guests can request those if they need one.

The hotel was nicely appointed, very well maintained. The staff was excellent, especially John who was in the front area of reception, providing lots of recommendations for dining and shopping. The downside is that 1) there is no room service, which would have been nice as there was one evening when my husband stayed in sick at the room. I went to the hotel restaurant and was not at all impressed by the food, I would not recommend their restaurant at all. There really is not much by way of food, within close walking distance of the hotel, and I did not feel comfortable walking after dark in the area, (the area has a pretty fair amount of strung out/sketchy/homeless people on every block, which is just how downtown seems to be, in general). At another point, we wanted espresso/coffee, but the coffee bar was closed. At yet another point, we wanted a glass of wine prior to heading to the airport, but their bar was closed. I was advised to go to the Hilton across the street, but their bar area was also closed. It just seems odd that I could not get room service at all, nor coffee, nor wine when I would have liked. I have not seen this at other hotels. I ended up spending a lot of money on uber, just to avoid walking the area, I could easily spent that money at the hotel if the food were better.

Overall nice hotel, but cleanliness and slow response was an issue. When we arrived to the room, there were hairs all over the toilet seat. It took us calling the front desk 3 times over 2.5 hours and then going down to the front desk to get it resolved. Also, despite requesting our rooms being cleaned, one of them wasn't the first day and the second day was only partially cleaned (bed wasn't touched)

This is a beautiful property, but has some maintenance issues going neglected. The common areas are very nice (lobby, bar, restaurant.) The room was nice, TV is the largest I think I've ever seen in a hotel room. But the bathroom had paint peeling off in sheets just hanging from the ceiling. Not something you want to see after spending $300 on a boutique hotel room. The bed was not terribly comfortable (woke up with a sore back) and seemed smaller than a king, like somewhere between a queen and king, so felt shortchanged with that. The indoor pool and gym are nice, but we were a little disappointed in the outdoor area on the 11th floor. My tween was excited to play the oversized chess set, but numerous pieces were missing or broken. Finally, I paid more to upgrade to a corner room, thinking there would be windows/views on 2 sides with lots of natural light (as there usually are in hotel corner rooms) but that was not the case. Not sure what the benefit was of this corner. Overall, I liked this part of downtown and did enjoy the vibe of the hotel, but the higher price just didn't deliver.

I loved everything about this hotel! It is walking distance to shopping, places to eat, Starbucks:) The bed and pillows were my favorite of any hotel we’ve ever stayed at!! So comfortable. I would have loved it if they kept the coffee place in the lobby open later in the day. One thing I wish we would have known was how early everything closes. Don’t plan on eating anywhere near the hotel after 8:00. I don’t know if all restaurants close this early everywhere in Portland but we would be at a cheer competition all day and by the time we got back to the hotel there was no where open to eat. There are a ton of homeless in the area but we never felt unsafe. And it seemed like there weren’t many around our hotel, mainly the shopping areas.
