Charming property near Rittenhouse Square. It may not be easily accessible for those with some impairment, but sure worked for us. Room was clean and comfortable. I was tall enough to get a couple of hooks rebooked for draperies, but blinds were good enough without it. Had some trouble with TV, but a minor inconvenience. We would definitely consider a repeat stay at Renaissance.

Our stay was incredible! Maria and her Team are exceptional and we found out that we also have mutual friends in the Poconos, PA. The location was conveniently located near restaurants, shops, etc. and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay here. The location is great. Super walkable to just about anywhere you’d want to go. Yes, some of the amenities aren’t up to date, but that’s part of its charm. My only complaint would be that our room was directly above the kitchen so each morning a delicious aroma would waft up to our room and I’d wake up starving.

The breakfast is so wonderful. We also had pleasant conversations with the chef. He was so warm. The food is among the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel.

The hotel is very friendly, Maria was great and welcoming. You feel it is a family residence. My concern is that there is no elevator and I had a shared bathroom that I felt a little bit uncomfortable.

Cool location on a neighborhood by Rittenhouse Square. Eddy was super friendly when he checked us in. Maria is the innkeeper and ever present. Breakfast was great! The Heritage room doesn't have a TV, but that was fine by us. The Yamaha piano was wonderful to play in the parlor. And they accomodated our bikes.

Loved our room. Comfortable bed. Very quiet bed and breakfast overnight. Breakfast was light, but there were several choices each day. More elaborate breakfast on the weekend. Staff was extremely helpful and lovely.

The absolute only issue I had with the cleanliness, and this isn’t a big deal but the ceiling fan in my room had quite a bit of dust on the top of it, which happens. Nobody remembers the ceiling fan. Just a quick dusting of the ceiling fans and I would’ve given it 10 out of 10 for cleanliness

Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious full breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday. Comfortable, clean, and spacious room. Conveniently located within walking distance to shops, art exhibits, and restaurants. Easy access to SEPTA (local transit) system, which worked well for us, as we attended a concert at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night. We hope to stay here during a future visit to Philadelphia.

Great B N B stay over in Philly for my wife’s birthday. Several blocks from Rittenhouse Square for shops, restaurants and leisurely walks. They have a great staff and garage parking is several blocks away. You will not be disappointed.

This was an amazing experience. The service was so personal and it waa walking distance to all the major restaurants and transportation. Shout out to Dennis for his great food, stores, and foos recommendations. Thw property manager also checked on me before i arrived and made sure my stay was top notch. I will book this place again and again. What an experience.

We had a wonderful stay at La Reserve B&B. Maria was helpful in suggesting places to visit. The room was very nice and clean. We walked to the parks and to the art district. Loved our time in Philadelphia!

La Reserve is in a great location. The staff is helpful and extremely friendly. They helped me navigate through the city when locations were blocked off due to a festival. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. Very close to Rittenhouse square and nice restaurants. The breakfast was great. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Philadelphia.

Great. Staff from check in to check out were personable, helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. We were lucky to have booked early for a busy Graduation weekend, so our suite was on the first floor, at the back of the building…the Saratoga suite. Lovely, quiet, comfortable and clean. The property is very convenient and walkable to Rittenhouse Square and all the shops and restaurants nearby. As for breakfast….everything was delicious. Husband says “best French toast he has Ever had”. And he’s kinda old, so…..😉

The location is wonderful . The facility is old and very quaint. The breakfast was very good. The carpet in our room was dirty from old age and needs replacement. Overall it is a lovely place to stay if one wants to walk around Philadelphia. It is accessible to many things. The owner is working hard to keep it up.

We had a great stay overall! Location was fabulous. Host was great for our continental breakfast-very friendly and chatty. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t serviced after the first night so we had unmade med, trash, need for shampoo etc Hostess for sit down breakfast seemed annoyed by guests and was not friendly. Room was spacious and well equipped We had to leave early for airport and requested a to go breakfast but that could no be accommodated so we had to buy coffee for our room and get breakfast at airport. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay here again just a few little things that could have been done differently to make the experience excellent

We had a wonderful stay at La Reserve. We were there mid-week when it was not busy and the manager upgraded us to a gorgeous, spacious suite. The breakfast was great and really peaceful. The location of the B&B is fantastic and the rates reasonable. I would highly recommend La Reserve.

Wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Sad we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast there since they often had times booked up (maybe call ahead and see what they can accommodate?) but walking distance to parking lot (5 min) and very close to everything and very safe. Loved how clean and well kept the room and bathroom was too. We had a shared bathroom and they provided us with robes which was perfect. Cleaned rooms daily. Ample outlets despite the historic space. Very safe, had keypad locks at entrance and for our specific room.

I loved the BnB, it is lovely and well located. The owner makes an excellent breakfast and is an excellent,caring host! I unfortunately did not realise I booked a shared bathroom which does not work for me. That said, it worked out fine, the owner uograded me one night and would have 2nd night had it not been full. This place is very popular. My only other small complaint is no TV in the shared bathroom room (in dining room though) and no coffee,tea facility.
