So the overall stay wasn't bad. But the receptionist honestly makes me want to give a 1 star review, as i had a flight out that morning at 7am i go into the lobby at 5:30am and was offered a taxi service to the airport of which i accepted. After 30 minutes of patiently wait i had ask the ssame individual whats the hold of and if they could try to reach out to the taxi services again and the response was no you should have booked the taxi the night before so i walked to the airport with my luggage and was 5 minutes away from missing my flight.

This is a beautifully-designed small hotel which is extremely close to the airport (right next to the end of the runway and 5 min drive to the terminal) and a short walk to the restaurants and shops in the Maho area. However, given the price tag, plus the fact that you hear the planes all day long, we really expected a lot more amenities. The room was okay, pool is lovely, good gym and a nice welcome drink, but no water sports or activities, the concierge is not much help, the spa is EXTREMELY expensive, one restaurant (good drinks, okay food AND super expensive) and the staff seem young, a tad unfriendly and unfamiliar with places to go and things to do on the island. Maybe if drinks were included it might have felt like a bit more value for money, but honestly the juice wasn't worth the squeeze of staying here.
Sint Maarten/St. Martin overall has a few beautiful beaches, especially Mullet Bay Beach, Orient Bay and Great Bay but once again, not a whole lot to do. We did a tour of the entire island, stopped at a few sights (Fort Louis, Grand Casse, Loterie Farm and Oyster Bay on the French side are noteworthy) but other than laying on the beach all day, it's not exactly an activity-filled island. We had great food on the strip in Grand Casse and at Jax Restaurant on the Maho strip, but no other dining places are really worth mentioning. However, it was very entertaining to watch people on Maho Beach be blasted by the jet stream when planes take off.

The Morgan Resort is a beautiful and well maintained. It is one of the nicer resorts on the island, probably the nicest on the Dutch side. It is smaller and quieter but has a lively bar and nightly entertainment. The staff is highly accommodating and super friendly.

We had a terrible room on the first floor so we could never open our curtains. The room was just by a very noisy hallway. The shower soaked the bathroom floor every time. They offered to move us to a room with no window at all. Pros: The pool was gorgeous, the setting the same, the food in the restaurant was good.

The reception desk was ok, not amazing. For the second time I went in this hotel, they gave me probably the worth room. First floor just in front of the restaurant. I had table and chairs just in front of my window!!! When I asked for a late checkout until 1PM, it was very difficult to get and at the end they gave me noon. The price at the restaurant are very high for a quality not high :(. Not an hotel to recommend.

I spent two nights at the Morgan Resort.
Not sure I would come back.
I've been to St Maarten at least 20 times and one thing is consistent- the service is meh.
The good: wonderful pool area, comfortable room and bed.
Less good: Noise. The first night I stayed in an airside room. Most of the heavy aircraft take off before 6pm but the lighter aircraft start early. This is OK if you are in bed early and up early.
On the second night I stayed in a poolside room. I think this was actually worse in terms of noise. Constant music all the time.
Second bad thing- 11am checkout. I checked out of room 1 and waited in a line of 20 people... totally inefficent/ineffective front desk.
I moved from one category room (airside) to another (poolside). There were more than 10 rooms available for sale but regardless, I had to wait 4 hours to switch rooms. No accommodation made even though I had a second room to move to. Zero help/flexibility from the front desk... completely useless.
Ridiculous $100/hr late checkout fee... which clearly I did not accept as an offer.
Having to wear a bracelet makes you feel like you are at a frat party hotel. Very annoying.
The food was OK, nothing special and definitely not cheap.
Basically the hotel seemed like a bus station. Lines of people checking in, lines checking out.
I definitely would not make this hotel my vacation destination. The rooms are NOT cheap. You can get a LOT more elsewhere in the Caribbean with far better service.

The location is great literally 4 minutes from SXM airport. however the only staff that was accommodating was bell hop and transportation to the airport. Patrick and Lee to be specific! The ladies at the front dest was unaccommodating and unapproachable. My Sisters were getting spa services at 10 am they will be done by 12 so we requested late check out and that was denied.
Overall nice hotel, just needs some direction with staff.

We just love the Morgan Resort! This hotel is very close to the Maho beach (3mins walk), Mullet Bay Beach (12mins walk) and the Maho Market (5mins walk). Very convenient and accessible to all you need. The Maho Market is amazing place to buy your breakfast sandwiches (Johnny Cakes!) and snacks to bring at the beach. The sunset bar& restaurant is also nearby and lots of breakfast places.
The hotel is super clean! Well maintained and very safe and secured. Staff are helpful and very attentive to your needs.
Thanks to Ravi who drove us from and to the airport! He is the best :) we will come back soon!!!

STAY AWAY! IT IS NOT LUXURY. Nice Pool but was smelly, dirty, horrible service and noisy, hallways echoed, you could hear everything. Beds and pillows were very hard and they had no other options for guests. We will NEVER be back.

The Morgan is beautiful and the staff was just as amazing from the receptionist Dana Love to the bartender Nick! I had the best time! Fresh food, great drinks! The rooms are exceptional clean and the live music on Thursday was EVERYTHING! All in all the Morgan is a perfect 10/10!

Upon arrival, we found our room, room 104, located on the first floor, clean and prepared. We chose the pool view room for my birthday stay, we were disappointed by its location. The balcony overlooked restaurant seating, making it challenging to enjoy due to the talking and diners. Additionally, the surrounding area outside the hotel was crowded with cruise travelers, and Maho Beach, though close by, was excessively packed.

The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool and hot tub looking directly out to the island of Saba. Picture perfect. That being said, there is no beach in front of the hotel, and the closest one nearby is extremely crowded with tourists waiting to capture a picture of the planes flying overhead. If that's your thing, it's super close. The front desk and concierge were very friendly and helpful, as well as the bellmen, however the pool and restaurant servers were never very attentive of friendly. It seems like something was forgot on every order. Overall we had a nice time at the hotel, but it looks like they need some more training. Also, not a lot to do at night in the hotel or close by.

Overall I give the resort a 2.5-3/5 stars. The a/c and lights are motion controlled. Which we hated. Lights would cut off while using the toilet and a/c would cut off every night while sleeping. We had to get up several times throughout the night to cut the a/c back on. The hotel also would clean the room and leave no wash cloths we had to call down every day for those in which 2 of the times they said they were out and only had hand towels. When they did have them we called twice and waited an hour for them. On the last day of our stay around 10:00am as we were preparing for checkout the lights completely shut off along with the water mid way through my shower. The food at salt restaurant was okay. Pool area was great. My wife visited the spa as well the tech was 20minutes late to her appointment.

The experience was everything I can imagine. The only thing I didn’t like was I thought I paid for 1 accommodation for breakfast but stated never happen. But all in all everything was good.

Unfortunately, I did not think my room was cleaned throughly. We found a bra on the floor from a previous guest and hair strands on our blanket upon arrival. We reserved shuttle service to pick us up at the airport and grateful that it was complimentary, however, it didn't pick us up at the time scheduled and they do not track your flight status so if your flight arrives earlier they expect you to wait. I saw another guest complain at check in that they had a 3pm pick up but the shuttle never came, I checked the time during this interaction and it was after 4:30pm. I also talked to another guest and she said her room lost hot water as the tank for it broke on their last night. Also, concierge wasn't the most hospitable and seemed annoyed or flustered whenever I asked questions about recommendations or support in booking excursions. Lastly, we ordered food at the pool and it took over an hour to get the food we ordered! Despite, the downside on some of my experience, the hotel did have a great gym, pool and spa. I highly recommend to book a massage here even if you don't plan to stay, that was my favorite part of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner at Salt and BBQ shack was also good, but like I said very slow service which is expected being on an island, but over an hour?!? Service really needs to improve.

The resort is flawlessly gorgeous. The views, the GORGEOUS saltwater pool, the decor, the layout, the rooms - perfect. What really was disappointing was the service. The concierge would literally just walk away and start talking to someone else while checking you in or asking a question, the pool service was kind of terrible - you had to chase people down to get towels or a drink. When it came time to pay - a service charge was automatically added - but they were sure to ask for an additional tip.
The beauty of the resort might make me return - but the service for this standard of hotel was INCREDIBLY dissapointing.

The hotel is close to the airport so we were worried about the airplane noise but once at the property that was not a concern at all. The hotel is nicely decorated. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend The Morgan Hotel.

My AC would shut off after one hour all night, the room would heat up to over 80F and I would have to wake up and turn the AC back on in order to cool the room, I made the staff aware of this propblem and got to know the maintenance guy very well since he was in my room each day. At no time did any one apologies or offered to change my room. There were a few other issues durning my stay however this was very upseting. I have lived in Latin America for 20 years and I am use to issues even at high end hotels, however the way this was handled was unacceptable.

My mom and I truly enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was close to the airport, beach, restaurants, and grocery store. The staff was awesome and accommodating; from the concierge to the dining staff, housekeeping and transport personnel (Ravi & Lee) . They were able to provide much info regarding the island and how to get from one point to the next. I appreciated the dining staff; Ms. Lopez and Chef Boyce for assisting me with my dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy-free).
The property itself was pristine and the room was quite spacious, comfortable, and clean.
The only issue I had was that the bakery on site (Oh Paris) was closed during my stay for renovations. Hopefully, when we go back next year, the bakery will be open.
Kudos to the staff and personnel of the Resort!
