Exactly as expected, except for the price. Taipei was booked out, so I had to move from the Howard Plaza to this hole-in-the wall place.
It was clean, everything in good order, with slippers, hairdryer, water bottles.
The downside: Located in an shabby old building. A classic budget hotel, but due to the fact, that the city was booked out at almost $300.
