Not fancy, but very clean, comfortable and safe. If you're looking for a basic stay then this is the place to go Very affordable especially given how expensive DC is to stay in.

Guy checking me in was on his phone talking his native language so i waited for him to finish. Apparently he was also trying to check me in. Kind of unprofessional. Room was nice and clean. Slept very well. Probably need to expand the muffin selection and i had to ask 5 times to make more coffee.

You get what you paid for. No amenities, no extra service, just a friendly greeting and a room good enough for a short stay. Wifi was spotty but tolerable. The room was not too dirty, some hairs that you could see on the wall and a few on the beds. Overall would stay at a place like this as a last resort but at least it was close to some nice restaurants and a shopping mall with some cool shops to check out as well as an international supermarket.

Well we got in super late, after midnight i believe, the neighborhood wasnt very appealing, the clerk wrote my room number on the back of the room.key with a highlighted. Oh and there is a 50 dollar incidental refundable deposit. Although it held 60, i was returned it. Theres no microwave or fridge in the room, and 3rd floors a bit rough up the stairs. The beds were ok for comfort although get rid of the double beds and bring in queens. So overall it was ok. Nothing spectacular there breakfast was muffins that had been thawed and juice.

When I for arrived to check in, there was 2 women and 1 man at the desk. The 2 women were conversing with another women(standing beside me), who had just gotten off of work. I stood there patiently and just smiled at them. Finally I was able to check in. That’s when they informed me that there was an extra $50 fee that would be immediately reversed back to my card upon check out, I paid it. Once I checked out they then informed me that the $50 would go back on my card. 2 days later I called they said they returned it and to just be patient. The next day I called again they were very vague about it and brushed me off. I called again the next day, and once I gave the ‘em my name they hung up on me. I called back 3 times in a row and they never answered for me. I do not recommend anyone going to the Super 8bat Wyndham motel in Alexandria VA in Bragg st. They’re rude

Clean and comfortable room. Hotel is located walking distance to many stores, restaurants and public transportation. My only gripe is that their “Free Breakfast” was substandard compared to similar priced hotels that I have stayed at.

We stayed here a night while traveling from NY back home to FL. The place was average, not luxury but decent which is what we need. The room is clean, sheets are clean. Overall clean, tidy and decent. Though there was no microwave nor a refrigerator but we didn’t need them as we were just there to sleep. We had a restful night. Grateful!

The bathroom floor was obviously dirty. We used the elevator one time. It was dirty & smelled of urine. I could not take a bath because the drain plug was broken.

I had to keep going to the front desk to get my key activated. It was horrible. I had to switch my room three times because I don’t do in rooms and I don’t do the rooms where there’s friends or people next to me on both sides they were hanging out and it was not comfortable at all very loud.

It was clean and simple and close to everything. The house keeper came around to make sure we had towels and wash clothes. Haven’t seen that since pre Covid so that was refreshing !

The room had no microwave nor fridge and I paid over $100 for the room which was ridiculous. The beds were comfortable. The staff acted very strange which gave me an uncomfortable feeling.The area was quiet.

Room was clean and safe, however there was a cigarette smell coming in through the bathroom vents throughout the night. Also there was no hot water at all at my stay on Oct 29-30th, 2023

The room was clean, in contrast to the down-at-the-heels look of the place. We were surprised to be informed at the desk that there was no refrigerator or microwave. Working the shower was tricky.

The room was acceptable, although I did have a roach (small 'German' one, which I know are tenacious and hard to get rid of from personal experience renting a very old house that had lots of cracks in the floor/crawl space). But the thing that got me was the insistence on charging a deposit for the room in addition to the fee. This was over and above the Expedia rate, and I left the property very early in the morning, so I didn't try to get it inspected for a refund. If it's not refunded (just me, took a shower once, made sure not to leave anything but a tied-up bag of trash next to the trash can) I will be very upset.
