I am not sure if they are short staffed or if those working just didn't feel like working while we were there. I tried to call the hotel several times within an hour of our arrival just to see if we had the option to check in early. The first time I called it rang several times and finally someone answered, put me on hold for 5 minutes and then I was disconnected. I called and let it ring at least 15-20 rings 3 more times within the hour and the phone was never picked up. Finally I called again and instead of pushing the button to be directed to the front desk, I pushed the button to make a reservation to which a voice answered where there was clearly a language barrier and the conversation (or lack there of) lasted 15 minutes longer than it should have. My guess is that the reservations are not done on site. By the time all of this had occurred we arrived at the hotel. We went inside and there was not an employee in sight. I rang the bell on the counter SEVERAL times very loudly. Someone who was staying there kind of laughed (as though he understood our frustration) and said "I think she is outside the back door smoking". A young girl finally came in with no apology or smile and told us we couldn't check in early. Definitely went through A LOT of trouble to get that answer. The room itself was pretty plain, but seemed clean and the bed was comfortable enough for a 1-night stay. We have stayed at better hotels in Wichita so probably won't stay at this location in the future.

We were in town for Mother’s Day. Hotel was clean, but the customer service and general upkeep was lacking. The three times we needed assistance at the front desk for our two day stay on a holiday weekend we had to wait ten to fifteen minutes each time with other guests who were there before us in some cases each time. Guest Specialist was polite when finally available but did not seem to have a sense of urgency. Nor indicate that they were the only individual on staff or required to take a mandated break. We actually left the third time we went to visit the front desk and grabbed pool towels instead luckily. Water pressure in the shower on second floor was mediocre. As a person with long hair it added 5+ minutes to my shower. Our room had towels that needed another cycle with bleach and a stained bed spread. Sheets appeared clean though. Tables had visible chunks out of the venire. One of the two elevators were down. This was our second stay here and we will not be back with all the available options in the city.

We’ve stayed here many times and keep coming back because it’s been great experiences. This trip had some hiccups. Our family hung out Friday night in the lobby and the bar was closed. That was disappointing. I had planned on working over the weekend but the wifi was down the entire time. That was huge. There was only one elevator, which wasn’t a big deal to me since I never use it but my husband spent time waiting for it. The place was full this weekend. The coffee was room temp each morning. Those were minor things but are the reasons I didn’t give it a 5 star. The room was very clean and that is more important to me than anything.

No Internet, same eggs and sausage, need to change it up, elevator was not working right

Room was not as clean as it should have been! This hotel is pet friendly!!! Room smelled like dog and had dog hair on some furniture! Will not stay in a pet friendly hotel again !! MY BAD !!

It’s a really well maintained hotel and clean. It was very quiet and the location has a huge shopping area within walking. I loved the hotel gym equipment. Everyone of the staff was welcoming. If there was any downside breakfast was accommodating but mediocre. It was a brief but excellent stay. Will stay again. Thanks LaQuinta.

This was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. I appreciated the great customer service.

Desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was as expected clean and comfy. We were staying in ICT for a day full of appointments the day.
