I had an excellent stay . The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. The down side was a lack of security. While on my stay my vehicle was vandalized. The only security was cameras and they didn't show the entire parking lot.

The front desk was very pleasant and helpful. This was a good location, I felt safe and it was easy to access.

The stay was very good overall! When we arrived, like I always do, I take the beds apart & spray everything down with Lysol. One of the pillowcases were dirty like as in stains from maybe makeup or face paint but none the less it was very visible & the pillowcase should not have been used period!! The other incident was one day we returned to a note that was slid under the door claiming that someone in our vicinity was smoking marijuana & there could be a few so when I called down they explained that at first housekeeping couldn’t pinpoint which room but later found the room & if that was the case the note should have been removed! Aside from those two small things are stay & hotel were great! Spacious enough for the four of us.

When walking into the building you immediately know its very well taken care of. Super sweet and attentive employees. Room was nice and cool when we walked in, super clean comfortable.

The absolute best staff ever. The only down fall was there was a dirty wash rag sitting in the corner of the shower. Other than that an amazing stay. The most comfortable bed and bedding. My family loves staying here. Breakfast is really good and lots of choices.

Ima truck driver been on the road for sometime just need a break peace and quiet well. The hotel is very nice staff very nice I think a security guard or something might be needed. Couldn’t get much sleep adults an kids running up an down the hall yelling screaming banging on peoples door then running all night wish people would have some kind of courtesy for others .

The hotel is amazing. The front office clerk was great. She was very polite and accommodating when needed. However, there was an instance where we let the front desk know that someone was smoking weed on the 3rd floor and the smoke was covering the entire floor. The clerk was very apologetic, but when she went to tell the manager, the manager was nonchalant regarding the situation. She said that there was nothing they could do without housekeeping going into each room one by one to see which guest was doing it. The hotel is 100% non-smoking - weed, cigarettes, vapes ,etc. There should be something that can be done when a guest provides feedback to the manager when there is someone smoking weed in their hotel instead of just blowing it off like it's not a big deal.

Overall decent experience. Beds comfortable and property/rooms clean. Surprised at the level of noise that carried from room to room…I was woken up on a Sunday morning at 7am by normal conversation level of woman in neighboring room and unable to go back to sleep from other guests packing up to check out in rooms on sides and above/below my room. Also disappointed in Airconditioning not adjusting to set temperature in the day time. Guests should also be aware that hotel will not replenish hot breakfast if you come down within 30 minutes of breakfast end time

My bathroom floor was so sticky and after complaining it was washed again but made no improvement so had to wear my shoes on. Pillow cases had ink on them, when I brought it to housekeeping I was told that I did it, wow, so rude. The coffee bar area is so dirty, not sure when it was cleaned last. Lastly I fell and I yelled for help and not one person from your staff helped me even though I was close to the front desk!

Host who checked me in did not greet me and was not welcoming at all. I was a burden. Our room was in major need of standard repairs. Shower head needed maintenance, safe not working, blind to room not working. Light bulb out in a lamp. For the price I paid each night…this should not be. Room 126 in Chalmette, LA Holiday Inn Express. The worst place I have stayed and I’ve stayed in a few places I New Orleans that are 100 years old less expensive and were 100 times better with the up keep of simple repairs. I should have packed a light bulb and a screw driver. That would have taken care of two things in this room.
