Rooms were clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were also clean. Overall good value for the place especially visiting during an extremely busy time of year (New Years) in Hakone. The descriptions/reviews provided by other guest were pretty spot on.

Excellent location. Rooftop terrace very good. I am too old to get up from futon and also would liked a chair in bedroom. Gora is best place if you have only limited time in Hakone and the property is only a very short walk to transport.

No elevator, carrying luggages to 3rd floor with no staff to help was hard. Location is excellent 2 min from Gora station and cable car to major attraction in Hakone is a plus. Any food or bus stops are 12-14 min walk but the only way is through a very hard long stairs.
