It was a very convenient place to stay, but the beds aren’t comfortable. The rooms are also not very sound proof. Our bathroom was also really gross. There looked like there was blood on the floor and there was garbage in the shower. We don’t spend much time there. Pools nice. Lots of families.

Very quick check in and check out. Our room was very clean. Very good location

It was right beside the hospital to which I had an appointment!

Seems like false advertising

Love the pool waterslide and hot tub.
Junior suites are great.
Some of the lights were mostly lamps, with many extension cords, including toaster oven in a closet with an extension cord cut through the wall. Electrical to code is a needed improvement. There was also a power bar push against back of a sofa.

Good location. Room was good. No dining. Used the firepit laye at night..they provided blankets.

We were upgraded but the toilet in the second bathroom did not work. Otherwise everything was really good.

Front desk staff were very accomodating, allowing us to check in early, and providing extra room supplies (Garbage bags, soap, playpen, extra sheets and blankets, etc). The room was clean and laid out well but the kitchen light made a weird hum, which was more annoying than anything. We just left the light off any time we weren't in the kitchen. The kiddie pool was a big hit with our kids (1.5 and 3.5) and the hot tub with outdoor feature was nice for the adults. The pool is in a different building but had bathrooms so we could change there rather than running outside in our bathing suits. Parking situation wasn't ideal as the parkade had a height limit of 6'1, which means most trucks are unable to park below ground. They do have above ground parking but it is fairly minimal, so I would recommend using a car or small SUV rather than any larger vehicles (That goes for virtually any hotel in the area). The hotel is easy to get to being right off Highway 1, and is only a 15 minute walk from Canmore Main Street which features restaurants and local shopping. Rocky Mountain Bagel Co is directly across the road and has amazing bagel sandwiches, highly recommend stopping there if you are in the area! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

The property requires an upgrade. Half of the electric outlets in the room were either unserviceable or out of reach. For instance, we had to plug the coffee machine in the washroom and choose between turning on the lamp or the tv screen. There were very strong garbage smells in the shared kitchen and stairways. Also, the reach the pool and fitness room ( which is inaccessible before 0800), one must go outside. And there are no change rooms, only a small washroom near the pool. Not ideal in the winter.
On the plus side, the front staff was very friendly and welcoming and the room door did not require a key which was great.

Loved my stay and will definitely stay again next time I’m out that way 🍻

I loved that we had access to the Grande Rockies pool! And it was nice to be able to walk over the The Grande Kitchen or The Georgetown Inn to eat. But I found stains on my sheets and was completely grossed out!!

We travelled in a group and had 3 rooms throughout the buildings. Currently, check-in is 5pm due to staff shortages. Frustrating but we were given access early.
First off, there are codes for accessing different areas of the building. Take a cheat sheet... one for your door, one for the building, one for the parkade, a different one for the pool, different building... different code... but thats when they work. Trying to access the pool in the blizzard like conditions was unsuccessful and guest were left walking all the way around the building and accessing the pool through the lobby.
Second complaint... hoping to relax and get a good sleep?... we had the heat off and the window open yet our room was 26 degrees the whole time. We could have used more than a couple hours sleep on top of the covers trying to cool off.
Third strike... visiting friends on the fourth floor... broken elevator... that should be fun checking out with a family of four and all their luggage.
The location of the property is nice. Its walkable to main street and lots of dining options. The pool is great for families although they refilled the hot tub one morning and failed to heat it. The main pool was cold but it was still enjoyable for the kids. Overall, the property is showing its age and is looking a little neglected. Our first and only stay. Would I recommend it to others?... definitely not.

We were checked in before the 5:00 timeline which was nice. It is annoying to have to run across the way to the pool but luckily the weather wasn’t too bad. Comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Stayed one night in a double queen room. The room was fine, it was clean, but a bit stuffy. The bedding smelled like it had been shut in a closet for a while, but it was fine. The laminate flooring was different, and made the room seem cold. Nothing wrong with the space though, beds were decently comfortable. Check in was easy. My only real complaint was the people in the room above us decided to redecorate at 3:30 am. Kept us up for about an hour, and was a disturbance.

If you'd like to use the pool, you have to cross the street

Location, secure parking. Seems to be well maintained.

Our stay is good except for the check out time which is 10 am which typically check out time for other hotel is 11 am. They also asked you to call/leave a voicemail when checking out to provide the time your checking out which is good so we don't have to go to the front desk. However, someone from the cleaning staff tried to open our door when we are still there which caught us by surprise.

I stayed there in October, so off season. The price for a one bedroom unit was very reasonable. Everything was clean and comfortable. Room service was good. Kitchenette was good, and everything worked, and being able to prepare a breakfast in the morning morning or a snack in the evening was nice.

front desk welcome was excellent; great location; liked that underground parking was included; didn’t have a chance to visit the pool or on site spa; the room was clean, with 2 queen beds, 1 bath, 2nd floor middle of the complex, overlooked the parking lot to the west, sadly not much of a view and despite blackout curtains, the room was uncomfortably warm, tried to get some air, but the room had only 1 operable window; there was a good sized bar fridge, although it was located next to one of the beds and it had a rattle when it kicked on each time and was quite annoying through the night; the fridge could be relocated closer to the entrance by the washroom and more shelving installed in the nook where the fridge was; otherwise had a comfortable sleep after a long couple of days hiking in the area; coffee provided wasn’t the best, bring your own, or simply walk down the street and in 2 minutes you’ll find Blondies, Beamers, and a bagel place that are non chain shops for delicious coffee and breakfast items. Overall, I expected the room to feel more unique for a ´resort’ feel. It was lower end but a place to sleep since we spent most of the time doing activities outside of Canmore. I would recommend a different place like a condo style with a kitchen if you want to prepare meals and not eat out for every meal.

Great spot for a great spot. Nothing fancy, but met all our needs.

I the girls at the front desk were great, super friendly and did a good job explaining things. I did not like that checkin was hard to find, went to the wrong hotel. There are so many instructions for everything. It was super inconvenient now when we did get to the room that the code given didn’t work. Next our tv and light on the one side of the room didn’t work. The bathroom was rundown and overall just not what I expected. Felt more like a dorm room than anything. The blanket in the closet was ripped and felt terrible, and the couch in main area had a huge dent on the armrest and the furniture was very warn and used looking.
The cleaning staff do an amazing job, although not what we expected, the room was spotless.
The staff here are very impressive overall but not happy with spending what I did on a place that was this rundown, for that reason I wouldn’t stay again or recommend to stay.

I cannot recommend this hotel, which was perfectly nice, because it is failing to deliver two of the most basic expectations for a hotel of any kind - security of its guests & their belongings, & availability of hotel staff.
This hotel will not issue you a key to your room. Instead they give you a slip of paper with a 4-digit # written on it that you use on a pad on the door of your room. This means that anyone who sees this piece of paper, which you must use often to access parts of the hotel, can gain entrance to your room. If this paper is lost anyone who has it can gain access because it has the room number and the code, as opposed to traditional room card keys which do not indicate the room number. This is not a secure system.
When I asked for a physical key to my room (the doors have card key locks) I was told that they had only 1 key and could not make me a copy, but would let me borrow the key for $100 extra deposit. But this would not work because I needed to leave at 8:00AM the next morning, and their front desk is not staffed (or, I learned the next morning, even accessible) until 9:00AM. This is the second problem with this hotel - they do not have a 24-hour staffed lobby so there is no way to address issues if you are leaving early.
So I took my chances with security but you don't have to: stay somewhere else.
To this hotel I say: get real and get real keys. There is a term for hotels that do not have a 24-hour staffed lobby: a 1-star hotel. You can do better

The hotel was right down town, the views were breathtaking. The staff were very friendly, easy to communicate with!! The parking was a little tight, but all in all I would stay again.

Great location. About 25 mins to Banff. Lots of restaurants near hotel and downtown Canmore was only mins away.
Hotel was fine. Few downsides…one tiny garbage can for the whole room, this room also had a kitchen so super inconvenient if you cooked. Also, room and hallway has a strong musty smell. Couldn’t really pinpoint in the room if it was the bathroom. You definitely could tell the floors did not get washed/scrubbed.
Plus side. Good location and room came with extra pillows and blankets/flat sheets.

Overpriced for a modest room. Housekeeping a little suspect. Air conditioning and ice machine broken but they did supply us with a small fan and suggest opening the window. We have stayed at Econolodges that were a lot nicer.
