It’s a rip off, charging $13 for a bottle of water. $5 for a cap of sparkling water. Charging insane amount as resort fee on top of the nightly rate. Feel really bad. It’s ok to be expensive but be upfront about it, don’t take advantage when the guests are all ready in the hotel

Very nice resort overall. We upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Food was pretty pricey but that's to be expected at a resort like this. My only real complaint is that the music from the Skybar is really loud, we were on a high floor so we could hear it in our room late at night.

I love traveling and have never experienced all places in a resort make a table of 2 seem like a table of 6. They would not seat me at a table of 2. Always at the bar, or nothing. Each person to them is 100$ a seat. Even if I was going to spend $200 just for me, its about their bottom line. This happened every night I was there. 5 nights.

Room and check in were great but it was so overly crowded you had to plan every move. To get coffee in the morning it was over an hour wait EVERY morning and no where to get water before 10 am and no refill stations for water bottles. Water park was cool though.

The property and service are both outstanding. The access to the adjacent water park make it a great family vacation resort. For some reasons there was some small scale-backs from our last visit two years ago, e.g., there were no canoeing, rafts, or flamingo interactive opportunities. Minor. We especially appreciated the accommodations for Orthodox Jewish prayer services and special activities for Yeshiva Week plus the expanded availability for kosher food, albeit the fact that the food was quite overpriced. All around a great vacation.

I was paying a premium price for a room and expected nicer accommodations. The room was small, there were no amenities (robes, turn down), the shampoo and soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty, and the bed on legs invited multiple stubbed toes. The furniture on the balcony was mismatched and heavily used. Food trays were left in the hallway for more than 12 hours. The pool was too small and crowded, and my husband experienced diarrhea after a meal in one of the restaurants on site. All in all a most disappointing stay. Even at half the cost of the room, I would not have felt I was getting my monies worth. I have stayed in nicer roadside motels in the middle of nowhere.

The property is beautiful but the service from the front desk and concierge was horrible. The hotel was fully booked over the holidays and they could not handle the capacity. The mini fridge was broken for the duration of our stay. We had no furniture on our balcony and we placed on a waiting list to receive it, which never happened. Our room didn't have body wash or moisturizer until requested. The concierge was not able to find us a single dinner reservation anywhere on or off property, sent us 2 wrong reservations for different people and I'm still getting emails saying they are working on a reservation that was for a week ago. When I followed up they told me to go visit all the restaurants on the property every night and ask if they had any cancellations. For the price, this service should be 100x better. I would not recommend this hotel, especially during a holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at SLS Bahamar. Location is great and staff is accommodating. Our view was stunning. We were however disappointed in size of room for the price and would have liked patio furniture to enjoy the beautiful view we paid extra for. Be prepared to spend a fortune on food and drinks. Overall we give the property 7/10.

we paid a fortune to stay there. We issues with our locks, found hair and pee stays after the room was "ready". we were given a room by the elevator in which you heard everything into the room. the front desk lady was not accommodating at all. this place would have gotten 5 star rating if it cost 1/3 of the price. We paid $1000 per night.

Baha Mar was a beautiful resort.We stayed at the SLS but all three hotels are conveniently located close to each other. The restaurant choices were great and the food was delicious but you are going to be paying for it as everything is priced quite high, especially once you add the service charges and taxes. The only downside our group felt shout our stay is that our actual rooms lacked some basics that we would have liked and expected- the rooms had no bathroom doors, there was very little storage, difficult system to operate the lights and the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom. Aside from that we had a great time and I would return.

Loved the beach and staff! Little hiccups here and there like cold water in the spa and not many good food options. Costa was very greasy, however the breakfast buffet was good at Cleo. Wish there would have been more Bahamian food instead of Asian/mexican . Having a cabana at the day Beach club is a must. Service is nice and there is less crowds since a chair or cabana must be purchased

My family and I had a terrific time. Danielle Brown front desk agent was amazing. She was very sweet and professional. She made sure everything we needed was taken care of and followed up on our stay. She exceeded our expectations. I recommend this hotel highly.... Great atmosphere, food and location.

I wasn’t impressed with the hotel room. There was no door on the bathroom just a curtain and the light switch was confusing. The bathroom had no vanity space so there was no place to put your stuff. There is room for a small shelf (just a suggestion).

Overall a very nice, comfortable place to stay with a very friendly staff. Concierge was great. Cocktails were delightful. Pools were phenomenal. However the entire experience was very expensive and the whole “luxury” or “exclusive” labels being a little played out. Food was very good, but unnecessarily overpriced. The most frustrating thing was the water situation…No options for access to water anywhere…unless you wanted to pay $12 for a bottle. Be prepared to hoard it every chance you get. rooms were clean and nice, but no furniture on our balcony and walls were very thin (could hear tv in next room). Not recommended for families (that’s due more to clientele than the hotel staff).

Overall, it is a very fine destination. Cons: check in was a nightmare. Offered us an upgrade because it was our honeymoon. Desk clerk took us up to the room and never came back!!!! Customer service kept telling us he was on his way back up. Never saw him again. He ended up going home. The room they did upgrade us to was on the 19th floor.........directly under the nightclub. Thankfully we brough noise cancelling headphones otherwise we never would have gotten any sleep for four nights. No surprise, but it is just stupid expensive. The Surf and Turf at the Carna Steakhouse was $450.00. I got the $175.00 Cowboy ribeye and quite frankly, it was just ok. We ate at every main restaurant there. Fi'lia's Italian Restaurant was simply horrible. The rice balls were still cold inside. For an Italian restaurant, they only had about 4 Italian dishes. The chicken parm could barely be cut with a knife and the roasted chicken was so dry it was inedible. Cleo's was the best out of the bunch but next time I'm heading into town to experience true local cuisine without spending $3,500.00 for a steak dinner. The pro's are many. It is a beautiful resort with so many options. The water park was fun and there are many different types of pools to choose from. The service was was fine and again, many options for drinks, ice cream, quick lunches, etc. To me, the SLS has a bit of an identity problem. It's not sure if it's for fun seeking singles or for couples and families.
