This was a perfect experience for what we wanted. Carla is amazing. Pick up was easy. She arranged a rental for us to use. The lodge was secluded (which we loved and wanted). It was clean and view of the ocean from our window and balcony along with the stars at night beyond perfect. We will stay here every time we visit.

Maunga Roa Eco Lodge made our stay in Easter Island an absolute dream. The home was beautiful, decorated very nicely, quiet, and the absolute most amazing view one could have on the island. You are away from the hustle and noise from the town and can truly have a retreat with peace and quiet. The host was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. We enjoyed coffee on the covered deck overlooking distant Ahu and the ocean and even cooked a couple meals in the well appointed kitchen. Every day there were fresh towels and bath mats, we even got some fresh eggs from the hosts farm. You will love this gem of a retreat. The view alone is simply worth it. Thank you Maungo Roa Eco Lodge!

We loved staying here; the porch is cozy and overlooks the ocean and family farm. The building was well kept and comfortable. The views were incredible!
Karla and her family were wonderful hosts, checking in on us and willing to help with things like tours.
The cottage is about 15 minute drive to town. We rented a car from the family and had no trouble getting around. They picked us up and dropped us at the airport too.
