Nice location right on the Quay, and 5 mins from the old town & port.
We asked to drop luggage off before checking in (ferry arrived at 1000), but the staff went above and beyond and had our room ready early. That was a really nice touch.
The bus stop is 2 mins walk, and from there it is very easy to connect to Amsterdam, Haarlem & anywhere else you can think of.

After two weeks of camping, we really appreciated the lovely bed and fantastic shower at this place. Not a lot of things were open when we got there later in the evening; if you are on foot, getting there from the Ijmuiden rail station is tricky. Not a lot of cabs want to come and get you. But the staff was truly kind and indulgent, and there's a bar and wonderful restaurant right on site. It's 700 m to the Newcastle ferry, and we know this because we walked it with our luggage. Thank you, and we would absolutely stay again.
