The property was great. It was very quiet. The staff were awesome. Only problem was the Internet kept going in and out so we didn’t really have much TV time because it kept going in and out and also we couldn’t use the Wi-Fi but other than that it was a great day, I will stay there again

Fantastic stay! Staff is courteous and on top of everything. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The Saturday morning breakfast hit the spot before we left for our cross country meet. Even though this was just a quick overnight stay, we were pleased and will look for rooms here on future trips to Louisville.

Wonderful fresh, modern layout and friendly staff. Beautifully decorated. One continuous open, high-ceiling space for check-in desk and breakfast area which included comfortable seating spaces and a see-thru lighted fireplace in the middle of it all which was a cozy spot to enjoy an early morning coffee. Carpeting throughout, including our room appeared new and fresh. Our room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom well lighted for early morning make/up routines. Lastly the parking lot was well lit and felt safe.

Check in was pleasant and simple. However, we had requested a handicap accessible room knowing that the shower would have hands rails to prevent a fall. We were given a standard room. My wife tried the shower and was very concerned with how slippery the shower floor was. She called the front desk to see if they had an anti-slip, in-shower mat and was told no, but they offered to bring her a couple of cloth bath floor mats to place in the shower. Obviously, that would not have been a safe solution, so we just purchased one ourselves. Also, that evening, we noticed that one of the two clamp assemblies that holds the toilet seat in place was broken loose. After the first use, due to instability, the other assembly broke loose! As it was late, we just dealt with it. The next morning, as we were going out for the day, I stopped by the front desk to inform them and to have it fixed. The desk clerk was more concerned with why we didn't report it the previous evening and commenced to lecture us on the proper procedure to report the next time it happens! As if we would have to report something else. She promised that she would have it fixed. We returned later that evening and it was still broken. I called the front desk and the young man at the immediately came to the room, verified the issue and had it repaired. Lastly, we usually don't spend a lot of time in the room as we are visiting local family, but I will definitely do better research of what type chairs are in the room.

Other reviews have this one right. The hotel itself was pretty good. Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Location a little off the beaten path. Breakfast not good for a Marriott hotel. Overall, not bad.

Very fresh feeling room, pleasant service, quiet. Surprisingly nice for the price. Breakfast featured tasty individual frittatas, a nice change from the typical “scrambled eggs.”

Amazing desk staff. They were so helpful and warm! The room was clean and the bed so comfy. The cleaning team does a great job. The breakfast lady was wonderful too and even though she was busy setting up the food, still had time to wish us good morning. Just can't say enough good things about our stay.

Hotel was clean, modern etc. would’ve been a perfect stay however when we checked in they had us wait bc of an issue with the room. First it was because there weren’t double beds but then another staff member said it was bc the person before us in that room burned food in the microwave and it smelled so they had an ozone machine in the room. However once we got Into the room it was clear they had just sanitized or sprayed with deodorizer and that the room Had been smoked in. Not cool!!

The place was great. The location and area was great. But when we stayed, there seemed to be a hundred children staying there as well, and that brought our experience down. We couldn't really use many facilities because everything was overrun by sporty children and their parents. But that's not the hotel's fault I guess.

This property was clean and convenient to shopping and dining. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was adequate--not great, but adequate. However, one of the reasons we stayed at Fairfield was the pool, but the water was not heated and was too cold to swim in. That was a disappointment.

Hallway had a foul odor. A piece of the wall under the nightstand was missing, several wires exposed and hanging out. So glad we did not have small children with us.

We really liked the shopping opportunities around the hotel. The actual location must be newly remodeled or redecorated - it seems very high end. The staff (especially the lady monitoring the breakfast) was SO friendly and seemed really happy to be doing their jobs well.

Slept well room was comfortable awoke late after sleeping well to fire alarm light flashing for 1/2 hour, then stopped for a short time and then resumed for another 1/2 hour. This happened 3 times that morning. We were told at the desk that the audio fire alarms would be tested at noon. Thank goodness we had left by then. Room was quite comfortable but of course roll in shower leave bathroom floor wet and slippery. All hotels need to figure out how to keep floors dry and less dangerous.

The Staff was great. Checking in and out was a breeze. It was easy to find plenty of well-lit parking and it was located in a safe area. It was really clean. Breakfast wasn't much but the lady fixing it was great. They had cereal, bagels and cream cheese and individually wrapped and preheated Jimmy dean egg McMuffin type sandwiches. The rooms were fine, but the beds were not. I don't how but the Beds got harder the longer I slept on it. I briefly considered the floor. I woke up with my hips hurting and I'm not old. If you're only staying one night and you don't have hip or back problems, you might be ok. I saw other reviews saying the beds were comfy, so maybe it was just my room.

Our stay was quick! The hotel was clean, up-to-date, and the beds were comfy. My only complaint: The free breakfast was good but not great. It had many of the essentials (eggs, sausage, bagels, English muffins, instant oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, juice, & milk), but sadly no waffles or bacon.
