Lovely atmospheric hotel nestled in the woods but only 10 min from the main station, with free shuttles running a few times a day. Comfortable, modern rooms. Very clean. Cute gift shop. A highlight was the delicious daily breakfast with some made-to-order options. Plenty of fresh vegetables from local gardens. I had the set menu for dinner one evening: Vegetable based menu, very clean and tasty. Beautiful garden-like setting. Private baths are available for free use. They are not sourced from a hot spring however, and have the faint scent of chlorine. I was able to rent an e-bike for 2500yen daily and ride around to see all the tourist sights. Would definitely stay here again!

Fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast, helpful staff, and very quiet accommodations led to a very pleasant 3-night stay.
Overall, highly recommended.
