For a budget stay it was good..could be a little bit cleaner than it was.. but over all i enjoyed my stay..

The staff here is super nice. This hotel is located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Manilla and is an area with some folks who are struggling financially.
So if you stay here you will be contributing to a neighborhood that needs the support of good people. It is not dangerous at all.
I actually want to see this side of a city and see what folks are really dealing with. I saw aspects of Manila here that I would not have seen had I stayed elsewhere.
From this hotel you can walk to the fine museums Manila has - the art museum is really spectacular. You can also walk to the huge park and see the old Spanish fortifications.
The room I had was large, and it had a nice bed and air conditioning. I actually caught a little cold or something and spent a couple days in bed and I enjoyed it - lying in the dark, recouperating with the AC on etc. :P
If you are on a budget, this room will be fine for you. Good staff, clean, safe room, air conditioning, TV...walking distance to cool stuff.

Main door will close at night. Need inform staff to help open the door.
