Old but nice hotel at ski slope. Very convenient if you go ski but advisable to take with meal option as not near to town. However, there is convenient store in the hotel.

Hotel is a bit tired but rooms are big, traditional beds may not suit westerners after a days skiing. We stayed out of the ski season while driving around Japan for one night, good price and easy to find. Hotel was empty so it felt like being in the shinning (film reference).
Great if you are planning a trip to see the snow monkeys which is an absolute must!!!!!!!!!!
