This is an exceptional property. However, it lacked the soul. The resort is trying to make it a long stay all inclusive resort. It would not allow me to book for 2 nights. In reality most of the resort areas looked empty.
Make no mistake .. this is a fantastic resort and I did have a great time. But I was expecting more.

The Ayodya Palace provided exceptional service. All of the staff who provided a service to us were professional, kind, attentive and friendly.
It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we were given one of the best rooms and they also decorated the room on our arrival.
The rooms were serviced daily and often twice a day.
The main resort itself was huge and maintained a Balinese feel. There were ample restaurants and facilities.
The food in the Indian restaurant and the Waterfall A La Carte were both extremely good.
The only negative feedback is the poor condition of the decking around the Palace pool area. It is in desperate need of replacement, and we believe this is due to occur although not sure when. This did not affect our enjoyment of the hotel and we will not hesitate to return.
We had a fabulous time staying at the Palace and look forward to when we can go back!

The staff are great. We had a few room issues and it was sorted which I appreciated. However it was not really something that should occur in a hotel such as this. We were given a great upgrade but if that had not been
offered I am unsure how I would feel about the resort. We had a blocked toilet and no hot water for the bath. I will state that one of the staff offered an upgrade after I explained my frustration. Other than that staff wonderful room very clean and well equipped.
