Easy commute from airport by bus, but we got off at the wrong stop, so had to walk further than we should have. We had agreed previously with owners, that we could leave our luggage as we arrived before the usual check in time, As it’s a b and b within a block of flats, we struggled a little to find it, making us later than expected but the owners were very patient and waited for us, thank you. We were greatly surprised to find our room was already for us, even though it was only 10am. The room was comfortable, and clean. It would have been nice to have had a kettle or coffee machine in room, but it wasn’t a huge problem. We had a nice distant view, but no view of Etna from our triple room. The surrounding area is a bit more rough looking, but didn’t actually feel unsafe, although a lot of homeless people sleeping on the streets nearby. Breakfast was fine, decent continental choice, just nothing fancy but filling and good enough considering the cost of our stay. Aircon worked well, and was needed. The main downside to the area was the mosquitoes, so make sure you have bug spray. I would recommend B&B Turiddu, good value for money, and well placed to access the city centre, as only 10 mins walk.

The staff made this stay as welcoming as could be, invited me to breakfast every morning, and were constantly checking in on me. would recommend. Very good service. Thank you all!

Nice little apartment hotel near the centre of Catania. Apartment block was not in a great area - was run down on walk from train station but was good inside. Breakfast was good continental, some pre-packed items, good cakes/croissants and espresso/tea. Room was nice and spacious, like in the online pictures, good sized bathroom, and provided iron aswell. the owener also let us leave bags to collect after checkout. Our host, Vincenzo, was fantastic, gave us a wonderful welcome - thank you for great stay!
