Great communication before- with pictures- and during, if there were any questions. Simona hasn’t missed anything, and is a peach. Note also the location is perfect for someone new to the city, who plans to walk the old town. Added plus is that both the taxis and hop on/hop off bus stop are directly in front of the building (because of the Aquarium).

Though not in the prettiest neighborhood -- Genova is a typical port city and that part of town has a certain roughness to it -- its location is very convenient as it's both near the aquarium and public transport and a taxi stand to get to the train station or the airport or elsewhere but also within walkable distance to the historic city center and its many restaurants, shops, and rich cultural offerings. The guest house is basically an apartment located in a nondescript building but the rooms themselves are pleasant and spacious, and very clean and well appointed. And the local hostess was most helpful and generous. I stayed there a week in October 2025.

Clean and modern room with a nice view over the city. Host was lovely and made the stay very pleasant. Always ready to help, also when we forgot out keycard in the room. Dig and small issues was handled superb. We would very much like to come back again.
Even parking can be rented with a cosiderable discount.
