When we checked in the room was cold and we couldn’t get the heater to work. A not really friendly guy checked it and said he will talk to maintenance tomorrow(!), after complaining through hotels.com we got offered a different room - with the same issue. So we asked for a space heater and 6 hours after check-in the room got finally warm. At checkout we got offered a coffee to go as compensation! We just came from breakfast - which was a mess too because if a bus of foreign visitors who took all the fruits from the buffet couldn’t get a single banana or apple, had to wait for toast to be refilled because they filled up Tupperware with toast to go..

Really disappointed with our stay. Room was small, very dusty & alot of dog hair's. On to the bed, so uncomfortable. A very poor night sleep, so will stick to Premier Inn in future. Least I know what I'm getting.

On my second morning of waking up the conjoining door from the other room had been opened and I could hear their TV word for word which will be at 6 a.m.. I reported this when I got home and the manager told me there was no room for a refund as I was safe. It wasn't about being safe I had no privacy as I could hear the person next door talking, spraying deodorant and moving around in general. I therefore wasn't able to make phone calls to my husband as I knew this would get carried through to the next room so fell I didn't have any privacy. I didn't know the person next door to me personally saw felt that they conjoined door shouldn't even have been opened. All the manager kept seeing was that I would have been safe, after all my door was locked from my side. THIS STILL FELT LIKE AN INVASION OF MY PRIVACY.

This hotel is only a few years old, so rooms and facilities are immaculate. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff make for a lovely stay. Free parking and breakfast are a bonus!

Lovely stay with family, celebrating my aunt’s retirement. Staff were all great. really nice, comfortable & spotless. Finished of our stay with a buffet breakfast Excellent value for money. Stayed at a few other Hamptom Hotels, always excellent service & rooms. Thank you.

We spent two nights while visiting family in the area. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was substantial with good choice. We had dinner in the bar area on the first night and although it was preprepared food it was excellent.

Beautiful property. Extremely comfortable, clean and friendly. Excellent value for money. Breakfast could’ve a little more varied but evening menu quality really good. Staff helpful, friendly and professional. Lovely stay and will definitely be back.

Decent and clean hotel as fairly new. The on-site food offering was not good. Service was bad and long wait inbetween starter and main course (i had to go to the bar to remind them i was waiting for my main, the staff took away my cutlery and napkin and didn't replace them, at no point did anyone ask me if my, meal was ok or if I needed anything else, like cutlery and a napkin!) main course came and it was pretty poor, I would expect a burger to have some relish or sauce on it, especially for £16 and a bit more salad than just a couple of leaves and a slice of tomatoe, it wasn't even busy. If I stay again, I'll be going down to a resaurant in the town, didn't bother with breakfast.

It was in a very peaceful and quiet location, it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, I rested very well. The breakfast was very good, I was very satisfied, I would definitely choose it again. In the area, where you can easily stay by car, there are many charging points for electric vehicles in the car park.

The staff were fantastic - helpful and the room was perfect! It was very clean, comfy bed and great hot water for the shower. Had a yummy dinner that was fast, tasty and good portion. We will be back.

spoiled by dogs being allowed to lie on sofas in the lounge areas. Very unhygienic and also dog hairs left on the sofas. we also saw a dog being allowed by its master to pee against a sofa edge. This is a nice hotel spoiled by some abuse by dog owners.

If you don’t get a room at the lift side be aware that you are almost guaranteed to get a nice cold shower… told staff and they were not really helpful….just said the boiler was flat out… all your really looking for is a nice bed and a hot shower and unfortunately they could not meet this minimum expectation….breakfast not enough bacon at 9am had to wait 30mins before it was topped up they know it’s busy times so you would of thought it would have been ready…..

A great hotel with clean comfortable rooms, helpful staff and a nice bar/restaurant. Hot breakfast ( included ) was pretty good too. Hotels has many comfortable spaces to sit in the lobby and enjoy a cup of coffee or drink.

Carpet in the rooms had brown/ yellow stains- otherwise clean
Toilets very clean
In the gym- unfortunately no wipes for the equipments
A gym mat for the floor would be nice 😊
A gym ball to do back and abdom exercises

Good hotel but very very basic, there was no fridge in the room and the bathroom was a wet room but the floor didn’t drain all into the shower causing lots of water to build up under the sink and toilet. Meaning you couldn’t go to loo without getting feet wet.
It is a dog friendly hotel but dogs are not allowed in the table area. So if you want food you have to eat it off a coffee table.
Breakfast was a bit of a joke with not enough tables for all guests. Regularly happened causibg bedlam and people having to take food back to room.

The food was amazing. The room was amazing. The staff were amazing..its amazing value for money..only downside they dont provide robes or slippers.. shame as have stayed at lesser quality n received them..

Food was cold when dinner was brought out eventually. I get that the hotel was busy with xmas nights however should not have food sitting cold in a kitchen with kitchen staff popping their head out of a door looking for hotel staff to bring food to tables.
