My daughters (aged 15 and 20) and I travelled from Ireland with no hire car ,it was easy .
The train is direct from the airport,hop on the airport mover to Pisa central and you are straight through to Cecina .
We managed to get a taxi to the New Camping Tamerici with our luggage.(15 euros cash ) they love cash in Italy.
Also no one speaks English really which makes sense as we are in Italy .
Anyway the staff at this place are so helpful and laid back nothing is a problem it’s a real family feel ,site is well maintained and the pool area is well laid out and very clean ,there is a bar and a cocktail hut and cafe for breakfast and lunch.
There is a restaurant with fresh pizza ,pastas etc well priced
There is a great market shop that has everything you can think of and a nice deli counter with fresh bread every morning.
Open until 8 in the evening.There is a hairdressers on site which looked busy .
Also the animation team work really hard and all the kids loved them .
Really this site is amazing for teenagers,there are bus loads of them hanging about having fun in the water with music playing most of the day ,a real party atmosphere.
The bike hire is brilliant and also a great price ,it’s such a great addition to the campsite.
The beach is a five minute cycle across the road and through the nature reserve perfect place to hangout in nature and the mosquitos weren’t a problem at all .
There is also a Spanish tapas place with a great atmosphere on the corner brilliant
