Leon and the dogs were terrific hosts. The room was comfortable.
The grounds were really pretty, lots of howler monkeys to be seen. Great horse back riding, even for a total beginner

We arrived after dark and Bridgette kindly and patiently navigated us in. We had a very nice two bed cabina. The highlight of the trip, besides the quiet and jungle setting, was getting to know Leon and Bridgette. They helped us order pizza, shared beers and life stories. Wonderful!

The hosts, Leon & Brigitte, are very nice folks and are very hospitable. They shared with me a wealth of information about Costa Rica. It is a unique place to stay for some peace and quiet. You must have your own transportation since it is few kilometers from the beach. There is no Uber service in Tambor and taxis are sparse.
