The property concierge didn't speak French or English. Made the check in difficult. Did not like having my ID and credit card photographed. Not a safe practice

The room was fine, the problem was that we could smell the sewer gas coming from the bathroom. My wife and I had to leave while the day was still black as she was going to be sick.

Definitely didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. Very basic room, not even a TV or anything.

It was a really good Room :) the Price where Honest and we got a great service!

There are many positives about the hotel such as its proximity to the Gay Village (attending Pride) and the staff were lovely and so pleasant. I do wish I had a toilet in the room itself but I was booking extremely last minute with little availability so other rooms may have their own.

Good deal for a good price; the staff are friendly, the hotel itself is clean, and the location is great. I was a little surprised by the lack of kitchen utensils and toilet paper available, but spent little time in the hotel itself so was not a big issue.

Parking is difficult otherwise great and convenient spot

It is a decent property.. not sparkling clean but clean enough. Has shared bathroom for all rooms. Best bang for buck is the location, you can walk to old port in 25 minutes, and St. Catherine street dining options are just 5 minutes walk. Free street parking in weekends.

They gave the guest before us the keys to our room.
We ended up with a room the size of a cell. The entire space smelled of old cigarette smoke, we had three keys so getting in and out was a time-consuming frustration.
This was actually a small, two-bedroom apartment, and they rented out the individual bedrooms...no door on closet, fake locks on the front door that did not function, a kitchen with nothing to cook with, no one ever on duty at desk, no daily house keeping...they should have paid US to stay there. The only saving grace was it's proximity to the Gay district, restaurants and shops. I think we'd have been better off sleeping in our car?

Loved the location that was very convenient to nearby restaurants and other venues. The owner and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. This is not a five-star hotel but if you're booking this you should already be aware of that. It is a good value for its location.

This B&B style is very old but very nice people. The building is too old and needs a major upgrade and renovation, Must have an elevator if not if your weak not recommended.

Great location and very pleasant lady in reception and helpful man re where to park…tricky in this area.
There was no soap or shampoos for our shower and no T.V. The bed was VERY uncomfortable and noisy every time we turned over. A bad sleep makes any trip less enjoyable. Time to upgrade the mattress.

This hotel is in the center on a construction zone. It was a small room with a bathroom that was barely useable due to size. My 6'2 boyfriend could not sit on the toilet. The bathroom also didn't contain the bare necessities. Not even hand soap! The bedding was not comfortable and the worst pillows I have ever used. It says there is free parking but in reality there is NO parking. You have to find your own parking lot/garage and walk to the hotel. management was rude and not even on site for me to drop off my keys when I left. Was rude that I didn't arrive on time even after I told her our arrival would depend on traffic. This was the most disappointing hotel experience ever and I will always book with chains from now on.

Cozy and unique. Very close to nightlife, restaurants and stores.

The price for the location was amazing. The rooms were well cleaned, but they are small. Had a private shower and sink in the room we stayed at, but the toilet was communal, with 2 other rooms. The parking in Montreal is terrible, but that is no fault to the hotel, just a forwarning. Overrall it definately was a great choice for the weekend vacation.

The first night I was not able to get into my room because I arrived at 11PM and so I booked and paid for another room elsewhere. The office at the Hotel Mini had copied down my cell number wrong and texted to the wrong person. I checked in the next afternoon and it was comfortable. There was no facecloths though. I found the air conditioner noisy but I slept good once I fell asleep. Also there was no TV in the room.

Commune room is fill with the most cheap and ineffective things. For a 119 you can find 100% better for 20$ more on st denis street

Good response to the resident's request. Not very quiet though.

This was a very negative experience for us. The "Free Parking" was just street parking, which is nearly impossible in this part of Montreal. The pictures made it look like this was more like an apartment with multiple rooms to sleep in - it is NOT. It is a single small room with 3 sets of bunk beds, a bathroom like a coffin, and the "kitchenette" was a microwave and fridge. The stairs to get to this space were incredibly steep and dangerous for our children - we had to tell them to treat it like a ladder. And when we arrived at 6:30pm exhausted from being on the road all day, we had to wait nearly an hour for them to start/finish cleaning the room we would be in.
This was not suitable for a family with young children.
