An incredibly beautiful location with magical hot spring baths and very good food. I loved the welcome drink and manju, but better communication about what drinks are available would have made the experience smoother and more enjoyable. I also loved the herbal tea service in the 1st floor lounge, but the water available from the machine was barely warm to the touch -- definitely not hot enough to brew tea. I hope that hotter water could be made available for a perfect experience matching other strong points of the hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

Relaxing family stay with fluffy snow falling outside. Clean rooms, nice beds, pleasant indoor and outdoor onsen, breakfast was very good. We played ping pong, but unfortunately the fireplace was never lit. We enjoyed walking around in the snow, and the nearby soba restaurant was so good we ate there twice. The nearby shrine is worth a visit, and the train station is only a short walk for those without a car. I would like to visit again!

Got a 3 person japanesse style room. It was good, the hotel's sauna is very simple, so i recomend also exploring other saunas in the city, the room was good.
