Staff was very kind and helpful even with my 11pm check in time. Parking on the street is a bit confusing but the front desk staff clearly pointed out the options including the parking garage across the street. The hotel is clean and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful

Stellar experience staying in our own city! Mike the front of house staff treated us warmly and thoughtfully. The corner suite was shockingly charming and well amenitized. The lounge and lobby are unmatched in 'remote urban chill' ambiance.
We'll be back and will tell our out-of-town guests to all stay here from now on!

Loved our short stay. We wished it was longer. Very clean, and so nicely decorated for the holidays ! We loved the fireplace. The room have many options. The staff was so nice and attentive. We had great drinks & dessert at the hotel bar. Loved that they had mocktail options
too! We would definitely return when we come back to Ithaca!

I never leave reviews so trust mine on the accuracy of this hotel. Very clean hotel. Nice and comfortable and cozy. There’s a restaurant/cafe in the lobby which makes food very convenient. Staff was polite all around except for one that was still polite but she could’ve been better but she was not bad. Only major issue was parking. The garage is a block away and not the cleanest of garages and it’s not really part of the hotel or the hotel’s garage. Overall I was impressed with the hotel considering the location. Surrounding area is nice but didn’t expect a hotel this nice this deep into the woods. I had a good experience. Nice, clean hotel with nice, clean rooms.

It was clean, confortable, practical, well-located, and the parking even if not included, is half a block away and inexpensive. Great place! The bar is a little pricy, but good internet connection, good tv service, etc., all in all, I will return.

They say that there's parking at the hotel, but there isn't. You have to park at a city garage a block plus away. But the rooms are very modern, and well planned. And the lobby is very hip, though it was a little confusing coming in from the main street, as it's all restaurant and a bit hard to find the registration desk.

I had already paid for my room through Expedia and since Canopy couldn’t find my reservation they charged me again almost twice as much. The staff was not helpful in trying to get this issue rectified and would not provide me with a refund. I ended up paying almost $1000 for a room. Will not be going back. Very disappointed.

The pillows were so uncomfortable, even asking for new ones, we had difficulty sleeping. My neck hurt something terrible. I went to buy Tylenol in the lobby concession, to ease the pain, and they had none. The bagged breakfast was a great concept, but when it arrived, it was miniscule. Much prefer the Marriott. Not worth the hype.

We chose the Canopy hotel due to its proximity to downtown Ithaca and the Commons area. It was the perfect location with great restaurants, bars and the Cascadilla Gorge Trail just a short walk away.
We were extremely pleased with the room condition and configuration, friendly service and useful amenities at the hotel.
Our thanks to the staff at Canopy by Hilton for a wonderful stay!

Our only issue was parking-we called to see if there was a designated garage and we were told there was not and to use a public garage. We found a local hilton garage but it stated it was not public and it did not have the "canopy
" wording on it so we did not think it applied. We ended up parking at a different garage after circling around for 20+ minutes. When we checked in we were told that actually we could have parked at the hilton garage.

There is construction on the streets around this property. The area also has many one-way streets. We couldn’t FIND the hotel entrance. When we finally did, we couldn’t find anyplace to unload our luggage. The front desk staff was minimally helpful even when we kept them on our cell phone to give us minute instructions on how to find a place to unload. Once we got the luggage to the room, we had to park the car in a public parking garage 2 blocks away. The parking was not paid for by the hotel. The hotel staff had ONE map of the area which clearly showed the streets and layout of the property. They would not share it because they didn’t have copies, hadn’t had copies for weeks (Why do they not have a printer? Why do they not have a copier?) The staff was friendly but totally unsympathetic to the difficulties we faced just finding the hotel, unloading luggage, and parking. Just that process took us about an hour. The car was so far away that we couldn’t easily go get things to bring into the room. Complete chaos. This hotel flunks the most basic test of welcoming guests.
