The hotel was quiet, clean, had a big bathroom, plenty of outlets, and it's just 30 minutes away from San Antonio. There is fast food nearby, some you can even walk too!
The breakfast was really good too. They had sausage patties, scrambled eggs, a waffle maker, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. Coffee is available all day.
There is coin laundry available, but the dryer didn't dry our clothes in one go and I wasn't going to pay another $2, so had to hang them in the bathroom to finish drying overnight. The pool is outside and tiny.

This was a nice hotel, well kept and clean. Check in went fine with no problems. The breakfast was fine and well stocked. The only issue we had was the AC in our room could not keep the room cold, it felt humid in the room at times and the AC tried to keep up. Other than that I would stay here again, it's close to several nice parks and a park near San Antonio that has a walking path to San Antonio, we started the trail in Hot Wells.

The stay was Great. The hotel was clean and had an inviting environment. Friendly staff provided local restaurant information. The breakfast kitchen was very nice. Something for everyone. We would stay there again.

The front desk staff were friendly and the hotel overall was clean. However, despite being a fairly new hotel, the room was showing considerable wear and tear. There was a large tear in the carpet spanning several feet across the room and what looked like bleach stains along the bottom of the wall.
The other guests in the hotel were extremely loud, slamming doors, shouting, and what sounded like kids running back and forth. All of which occurred after 11pm. Given the price of the room, I expected a much better experience overall.

It was an overall pleasant experience with exception for the manager who came on duty 4 days after we checked in. She called us and gave us unnecessary grief over our dog, saying the hotel wasn't pet friendly and informing us we'd be charged a $25.00 per day pet fee retroactively. Before booking, we searched Google for pet friendly hotels in this location and the result was this hotel. We walked right in the front door with our dog and never hid his presence. I felt this wasn't fair to charge for the past 4 days but understood the charge for the next 2 days of our stay. She said she'd have to have a talk with the staff member who checked us in. She ultimately didn't charge us but it was all unnecessary to be ugly with us. All the other staff was awesome and the hotel was clean and fresh.

I’ve stayed here several times when I come to the area, since they open this location. Breakfast is getting a bit old. I love waffles and eggs and all that’s offered, but pancakes, tacos would be nice. Maybe have a dinner service, that I’d be willing to pay for. Wish the rooms were a bit bigger. And had tv services that I could pay extra for, during the last stay I wanted to watch an Astros baseball game. And couldn’t. Anyways, like the location, and the workers their are always nice and friendly.

This is a very clean and quiet hotel. We would definitely use it again.
There was only 1 issue we had and 1 change they should make.
The one issue with our 4 night stay was our room key each day was deactivated and we always had to go to the front desk for new keys, unknown why their system did not register we were there for a long period of days.
The one change, this is the only hotel I have been at that breakfast ends at 9am on the weekend compared to 10am like all the others. Im on vacation and am ready for breakfast by 930 am so we always had to leave to get breakfast.

We were in LaVernia for a wedding. We had 3 rooms - staff is extremely friendly and often asked if we needed anything as we were coming and going. Breakfast was good - eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt with toppings as well as breads/pastries. All in all a great stay!

Everything about the stay was fine, except I spilled a little water on the bathroom floor and when I wiped it up with a piece of toilet paper, it became obvious that the floor and not been mopped in a while. The piece of toilet paper was very dirty.

Tiny shampoo, conditioner almost unusable - a total waste of plastic. No drinks or snacks available at the bar throughout the day. Everything is for sale. It's like a full service junk food store all for sale. Breakfast was good except there was a person with whooping cough coughing all over the food.

Because of COVID, a lot of hotels have stopped dally room cleanings. Not here. It was nice going out everyday with my family and then coming back to clean towels and made beds!

The hotel is convenient to La Vernia TX. But our room had two live roaches in it. The first substitute room smelled bad. The second substitute room was okay. Then we were locked in the pool area, because our card key expired while we were there. We asked the night clerk for a cigarette lighter, and he did not have one. But the day clerk had left a lighter in the front desk drawer!

We were running late to an event we were going to so I called on the drive down to let yhem know we would be late check in. I called twice and we could not hear each other. The person took the time to call me back instead of ignoring the situation. Called again became we would be even later and zane was very nice and said no problem. We got in our room and the tv was not working. I called and Zane came right up and fixed it. The next morning I asked about allergy information and took the time to go in the back to look at a lable for me. Sonetimes restuarants wont even look for you. Very nice and professional young man! Much appreciated!! Hotel was very clean as well.
