We loved our stay at Casa Emilia. The hotel is a super cute boutique hotel in an amazing location. It is a two minute walk from amazing restaurants and bars. The customer service at the hotel was so good and the daily breakfast was such a nice touch. We stayed in room six and it was big and had a lovely little balcony looking onto the downstairs. It did get hot in the room but we didn’t mind it because of the big window and air con. We will be returning!

We had a great stay at Casa Emilia. Location is fantastic and the staff are very helpful and warm. The included breakfast is very good. My only flag is around our specific room. We booked room no 1 which is directly in front of the entrance when you walk in. Because of that, unless you have the blinds closed the entire time you don't have any privacy as you can see right in as soon as you walk in the door. The room itself was a little small but clean and very nice overall. I think any other room would make this spot a home run.

What an amazing place to stay!!
Beautiful property located on a quiet street. The staff was so friendly and helpful at all times. My room was beautiful with a small balcony. Breakfast was delicious! I’m so glad I chose Casa Emilia!

Casa Emilia is a charming boutique hotel with a friendly staff. Habitacion Deluxe No. 3 is gorgeous with exposed brick, marble, and floor lights. Unfortunately, that room was infested with mosquitoes. I killed so many I lost count. So my stay in that room is a 2/5 stars. Without the mosquito problem, I’d rank it 4.5/5.

What a gem in Mexico City!! I wish I would’ve stayed here for the whole week of my solo trip, but will definitely be back!

I prefer staying in boutique types of hotels that have charm and character and Casa Emelia B&B was exactly what I was looking for. I stayed in room #1 which is small and cozy, but perfect for me. My cousin stayed in room #6 on the second floor, which is considerably larger, and she loved it.
The courtyard and breakfast area are so charming and beautifully decorated. The staff were all kind, friendly, and helpful. I dealt mostly with Marsella, and she was very eager to ensure that I had everything I needed, and she always had a smile on her face. She is accustomed to using Google Translate with those of us who speak just a bit of Spanish and she was always very patient.
I know most everyone has commented on how amazing the breakfast is and I wholeheartedly agree. The fruit plate was perfect, and my spinach omelet that I had all three days I stayed there was yummy.
Casa Emelia is located on a quiet street, but two blocks away is a street called Calle Rio Lerma that has tons of restaurants to choose from. One night we ate at Salon Rios and it was very good. There is also a really good gelato shop on Rio Ebro just one block away in the same direction as Calle Rio Lerma.
If I ever visit Mexico City again, I will definitely stay at Casa Emelia again.

Beautiful property and a Very sweet staff. We stayed in the room no. 4 with the bathtub and absolutely loved it - so romantic! The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to a lot, or you can rent a bike from the property or Uber for super cheap. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Casa Emilia is a great small hotel alternative to the typical high rise name brand hotels in Mexico City. Close to amenities but a quieter block or two away. The lounge area (in the photos) is a great place to sit and relax - but we also enjoyed a bottle of wine on the private roof deck with the fireplace.

Really amazing stay.
I wish I could have stayed for more than one night.
Great service and a wonderful breakfast.
I think there are only 6 rooms in the house, as it is literally a renovated house in colonia Cuahtemoc, a very central neighborhood in Mexico City.
The room is small, but with everything you might need. I think its more for a solo traveler or for couples. Just friends might feel a little too close for comfort.

This place was fantastic! Super friendly, extremely comfortable and QUIET at night, which made for a great night's sleep. Gabi even called a super friendly cab for me, which I used to get to dinner with friends, then to the airport in the morning - thank you Ray!
I was traveling on my own and felt super safe and the neighborhood is lively, charming and I felt fine walking on my own.
It might not be great for families unless you book several rooms, but for singles and couples, it's perfect.
My only regret is that I had to leave before enjoying what looked to be a delicious breakfast! I would definitely go back!

Overall, it was a great find! I plan to stay at this hotel when I return to Mexico City. The service was excellent and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming.
The only negative for us was that there was no central heating. We had to ask for a mobile heater unit. Days were not too cold anyway, so we only used the heater a few nights during our stay.

The staff of this property is 5 star! Check-in was easy, breakfast was lovely. The property itself is gorgeous. Our room was a little snug, so probably better to just upgrade to a bigger room unless you're traveling alone. My only complaint was the shower not being cleaned, but I'm sure if I had asked, they would have happily cleaned it. 5-star and would definilty book again!

As shown in the pictures and then some. Great location in a very nice area of the city and walking distance to many restaurants.

Location of hotel is prime! Upon arrival was greeted by the most welcoming smile from Julio. Many shops/ vendors and restaurants to eat. Neighborhood is charming in the small town feeling until you go beyond the main streets into the big beautiful city. Hotel is clean and quaint and staff is very friendly and helpful and able to accommodate for all our needs. Thank you again we WILL be back!

Really cute and quite. Small property with few rooms so service feels very personal.

Quaint and lovely Boutique conveniently located in Mexico City. Close to many restaurants and shops. Felt safe in the neighborhood. Check-In was a little stressful as we waited outside the property for 10 minutes with our luggage for someone to open the door. We also did not read the fine print and were not aware we had to pay for our stay in person at time of arrival (all bookings through Expedia have always been prepaid in advance).

Casa Emilia is a little oasis. Beautiful, restful, aesthetic refuge, filled with gorgeous plants. Alejandro and Julio were very kind and helpful. Lovely private terrace. Very clean, comfortable and pleasant in an elegant way.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Emilia. The staff are so helpful and polite. It’s a small oasis in a busy city with beautifully curated interiors. The only minor suggestion would be to replace any towels that are frayed or not in as good condition, but it could have been a small oversight. Would 100% recommend and hope to be back one day!

What a gorgeous boutique experience! Beautiful and well appointed design. Large private bathroom. Two open courtyard spaces to comfortably hangout. Delicious made to order breakfast daily.

I highly recommend Casa Emilia for a stay off the beaten path of commercial hotels. Decoration is lovely, staff are friendly and helpful and the surrounding area is great to walk around, with nice restaurants and cafes. Also very conveniently located.

The hotel is nice and very well located. There were a couple of employees working there who were also nice and caring. But a terrible noise and a quite rude cleaning lady ruined the stay. Last but not least, there are not strict Covid rules in place, as example you are asked to have breakfast at the same table and to share the same food among guests (eg yogurt, honey and muesli)

Hidden gem. A true boutique hotel, we loved it.
