Fun place to stay! Great location, clean room with ample space, and friendly service at check in.

Aside from our not being able to check in until 4:30 PM. the main concerns were; 1) the lack of sufficient lighting in the room - only one standing lamp and the beside attached lights were too weak for reading; 2) the shower doors did not seal well and water escaped to the floor, which became very slippery and dangerous; 3) the TV kept going off and needed rebooting and using the switch on the TV itself. Technician fixed it once but it continued as a problem. Not even a desk in the room.
The staff was friendly and helpful but no way was tis room worth $400 which did not even include breakfast or evening drinks and snacks, which we expect with hotels of this caliber, such as Marriott, Hyatt and others

Great parking situation. It’s not free but it’s worth it for sure. Good location. Easy to walk places. Nice staff and tasty restaurant on the bottom floor. Would stay here again.

It's a lovely hotel located in a good area in Memphis, I was just in and out but I really appreciated the kindness of Chris at the front desk. My only issue was a parking fee that wasn't disclosed to me, however the woman working the next morning amended this, which was appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this property, the old train station atmosphere and lively bar area downstairs is great. I would say if you're squeamish to live music/DJ's or generally a little boring in general, go stay at a different place. This hotel had soul and I appreciated that.

Was worried when I saw some of the reviews on here, but after having stayed for 3 nights I can’t think of anything to complain about! Complete control of the aircon, clean rooms with plenty of space, comfy beds and black out curtains. Slept like a baby! Great location on Main Street where the trolley starts. Staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to drop off our car but the car park looked safe and was well lit.

2nd time staying here to catch the train to NOLA. We love it…everyone is extra friendly…rooms are always clean.::love the music that plays we definitely will be coming back

The staff was wonderful. There is a trolley just outside the hotel that costs $2 for all day.

Great location. We enjoyed happy hour in the bar and had a wonderful brunch at the Bishop. Manager of the restaurant was very accommodating for our large party. Rooms were clean and comfortable. With a few exceptions, most of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Great, unique property in the heart of Memphis! Brunch was delicious, and staff were really helpful. The bar area is great and we enjoyed happy hour whilst listening to some great music.

Coming in off the train early in the morning, I didn’t expect to be able to check in early. I was SO HAPPY that we could. It felt amazing to stretch out after a long train ride.
Our room was very comfortable and clean.
There were plenty of towels and the beds felt great!

I liked that there was security riding around the parking lot at night and that the parking was on top of the building and not in a dark parking garage. I also liked the history knowing the hotel was once a train station. The hotel bar and lounge area with a DJ was nice to have. It would have been nice to hear a variety of music since the city is known for it's music history.
I liked the view from my room. I could see the city and the Lorraine Hotel.
The two things I didn't like was the hallway floors leading from the elevator to the hotel rooms. They are tile but not clean, and that there was no microwave in my room.
Overall, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again. The location was great, the staff was friendly and I felt safe.

Was amazing ! Central to everything. We walked to all the different locations. Such a unique hotel that if u are a music lover this is the place for you! Thanks Memphis for the amazing experience

The hotel was nice, rooms had a great view of downtown Memphis, and the Eight & Sand bar was awesome. I really wanted to enjoy the in room dj playlist throughout our stay, but that didn't work during and engineering couldn't determine how to fix it. I would stay here again but maybe upgrade to a bigger room.

I was not able to adjust the room thermostat because it is coded off. The front desk had no way to know the code. A $200 a night room should allow total control and comfort. I will not return.

We came to the hotel. They told us it would be ready at 3:00pm. We came back around 4:20pm. Then they mentioned that they can’t deliver it until 5:00pm. At the time my wife and I chose to pick another hotel.
Further they charged my card claiming that it was a non-stay. That was totally not true. The Hotel did not deliver what they was supposed to deliver.

We weren’t able to get to the hotel the first night but I didn’t think it was a problem because we had already paid for the rooms for both nights and I had done a virtual checkin (and picked our rooms). When we arrived we were told we were a no show and our rooms had been given away. We were offered new rooms but we had to pay AGAIN. Why did we have to pay twice? If you’ve already got our payment for the 2 nights, you’re not out of pocket if we don’t get there for the first night. No one was willing to help other than charge us again. We were told our parking would be compt but it is still on the charge card. Terrible service and policy

Ten stars - the bar/lounge/DJ area is a stellar addition to this hotel property. The thoughtful, considered music programming and DJ talent made this a destination for me, and I’ll be returning entirely for this reason.

Can’t say enough about our stay at the Central Station Memphis - the visit was flawless. Our room was airy, with high ceilings, whisper quiet even on a weekend evening - and our room service dinner was amazing. We had our pup with us and the staff couldn’t have been nicer to her. Check in was quick and easy, and check out painless. Parking lot was safe and guarded 24 hours a day, as well. Best part was the staff, everyone was welcoming and professional - they made our stay really great. Thanks so much to everyone we met!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We hadn't been to Memphis in years and decided to give this property a try based on it's style. We really appreciated the interior decor. Just a great vibe, overall. The staff was warm and welcoming, particularly Asia. The property was clean well kept.
The location was outstanding for our needs. The trolley stops just outside the hotel, which was great. We also found walking to nearby locations very convenient. You could easily walk to Beale Street, if you'd like.
The hotel lobby has a great vinyl listening room at the bar. But, the hotel was quiet and perfect for a good night's rest.
When we return to Memphis, this will be our hotel of choice.

When we arrived, very early morning no room available for early check in. They did accommodate with holding our bags. We were told to return around 12:00 to check on our room, we returned at 2:00. No room for us but 4 individuals ahead of us that had just arrived were provided 4 rooms. We had to continue to wait. The fridge was broken, the shampoo bottle in the shower was broken, phone didn’t work properly and the bathroom door did not stay closed. Very disappointing. We paid top dollar and do not feel it was worth it. The beds are a little on the hard side.

We had an amazing experience at the Central Station in Memphis. From the moment we arrived the customer services was superb and very friendly. The hotel was centrally located to all of the sights and activities on our itinerary. The evening were lively with the music, drinks, and eats. The rooms were spotless and the Hilton to Home Hotel Collection was like sleeping on clouds. On our final morning we had brunch at Bishop's and the food was delicious; there were no crumbs left on our plates. Overall, 10/10 and we will be making The Central Station Memphis our home hotel when we visit again!

The location of The Central Station Memphis was excellent! It is central to a lot of sites and Beal St. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility is interestingly and cleverly arranged in a hip and modern fashion. The restaurant attached to the hotel (Bishop) is great. Highly recommend this hotel!

We have never seen such rude front desk people. The only person that was friendly was one of the housekeeping people we passed in the hall.
