Booked online nowhere on it did it say the pool was closed we only booked the room so we can swim because that particular weekend was a hot one. Went to check in and the lady said the pool was closed because the health department shut it down. I appreciate the heads up but I drove 40 mins to get there it should have said it on the website before booking.

The room was very nice, and the staff was friendly. We had noisy neighbors one night, but that was not the fault of the staff. We will stay here again, on our next trip to LaPorte.

Our room was nice and comfortable, window only went out into the indoor courtyard so we essentially had no window, which was unfortunate. The room was adequate and clean. We stayed here as previous reviews had said that though the hotel was a little dated, the pool was great. Unfortunately the pool deck was quite disgusting. Algae all over the floor surrounding the pool, hair and feathers. It just looked so dirty. My kids were happy with water temp but unfortunately after the first day I couldn’t stomach letting them go back. We will stay elsewhere next time.

Wife and i stayed friday and Saturday for our anniversary. Hotel was clean but 2 childrens birthday parites were going on both nights. Children running allover place snd disrespecting pool area snd general area. Several complaints were made to front desk who seemed bothered by us interrupting hom playing on his phone. Both nights woth no sleep from kids running the halls slamming doors with no help fro management. Website bosted very nice and tranquil hotel. Very far from it

We checked in and went to the room. I opened the drapes and there were black blooms all over the windows. There was a party next-door and they decided to use our sliding glass door to decorate. I went out and asked them how long and loud this party would be. They said oh it would be quiet. I left to go to dinner, and a few hours later I returned, and all night long I was woken up by them, screaming and fighting. I never called security, but security did show up to the door, they left and five minutes later they were screaming and yelling again. There was a boyfriend and girlfriend fighting, obviously drinking too much and carrying on. I’m lucky I got an hour of sleep the entire night, listening to them scream and argue when I checked out, I told the front desk clerk, but she didn’t seem to care , I love the new updates and we were in an updated room but I will never book this hotel again and it’s a shame because it’s in a great location with a nice pizzeria inside the hotel. I can’t believe that this establishment allows the loudness and parties to go on . When we came back from dinner, there were six police officers in the lobby talking to people. I don’t know what it was about and I didn’t care that should’ve been my clue to leave then and ask for a refund.

My favorite place to stay. Very reasonably priced and offer a lot of amenities. The restaurant and bar are a huge factor.

The automatic front doors to the property were not working. So checking in I was directed to a side door later at night that was not very well lit and then had to try to bring my luggage in thru a door that was not automatic. As a single female late at night, not safe and difficult to bring in luggage.

I surveyed the local motels/hotels and learned that Pine Lake resorts would accept pets. (I personally made the call the week-end following Thanksgiving and specifically asked about pets). When my daughter went to check in, she was told the facility was not pet friendly. She left upset and returned to Indianapolis and was not part of our Christmas family get-together. I am 76 and I am sure this is the last time the family will come here for Christmas. Extremely disappointing.

I was outside having a cigarette when a man pulls in swerving and speeding fast with his bumper missing when he gets out the car bottles of alcohol fall out with him and I asked him to please dont park your car by my car he cursed at me and went inside to check in when I came inside. To tell the clerk of the desk. What had transpired? The clerk told me that hes a paying customer and I should leave the hotel... im like well so am i..but it seem this guy was a regular.. so we got our stuff and left.. and they wouldn't refund me the second day stay i had oaid for.. even tho we weren't there the next day..

It has potential to be a nice property but for the price it's not worth it there's no in hotel laundry service the rooms are not that big at all the rollaway bed is $10 a day and it's not worth it because then when I got was broken I fell off of it the first night

I had a great time, they are still remodeling but what is done so far looks amazing. The pool was clean and clear. The fitness room is awesome they just need to out a tv in there so you can had a little noise in the background.

This property is in need of a face-lift. It is old and falling apart. The landscape is unkept...the wiring and outlets in our room did not work. Breakfast was lacking, the whole place had a unwelcoming feeling

The first room I was in, didn’t have a television that worked. They move me to a new room. Most of the television channel is worked and the Wi-Fi was better. Then that room started to leak water from under the wall and in the bathroom and from the ceiling so they had to move me to another room. I chose it because it was the least expensive and it had a pool and a hot tub which I wanted. Pool and hot tub were fine.

After checking into our room, our TV did not work.We called the front desk and they could not change our room, due to no other rooms being available. In the morning, we noticed our shower was not quite clean from a prior guest. :( Check out is 11am, and pool and hot tub are locked until 10am. Wish they opened earlier.

If you are looking for an inexpensive one night stay, this works. First room the toilet leaked & the shower curtain rod was coming off the enclosure. We asked to be moved. The 2nd room was clean as was the bed and towels, but the soap & shampoo bottles were tiny. The included breakfast was not worth going to. I had the coffee, oj & free apple and we moved on.

No remote control in room. No coffee in my room or available at 5:30am. Could not use sauna or hot tub as pool doesn’t open until 10am. Hotel doesn’t cater to early risers. Bed was firm. Pillows great.

This place seems to be just getting going again after a hiatus. Rooms were upgraded around 6 months ago i think. Other renovations seem to be happening in the rest of the building too. The restaurant is nearing completion as well the front desk clerk said. No problem w/keys etc. Very affordable for a Notre Dame football weekend especially compared to South Bend & Elkhart. Easy drive into the stadium (took us about 45 mins to drive the 28.5 miles.)

Nice online picture. Looks like they are working on the inside. BIG bed! There was hot water in sink faucet but none in shower. In room phone did not work. No one answered the published phone number when I called. Hair in bathtub.

The front desk staff could have been a little more helpful about finding the room. And they were fixing up the game room and restaurant. They should have that posted on their website. But it was clean and a nice hotel.

Blinds allow alot of light! You could hear alot of conversations thru the walls. The ac was awesome. Bed was very comfy! Bathroom could use update!

This hotel’s room beds were very clean. The room was clean as well. However, the hallway carpets are very dirty, all vending machine were broken, the Ice machine on the 3rd floor is the only working machine in the entire building. I don’t know what was happening in the kitchen but the board of health may want to check this out. Water was pouring from the ceiling on to the floor.

Everything was closed in the Motel, No bar or restaurant, The worst cont. breakfast ever. Cereal, coffee and Danish. Trash cans full for 3 days.
