Front desk staff at check in and check out was extremely friendly! Room was very clean. Breakfast staff was nasty when we simply let them know a food item had run out and needed to be replenished. Valet service was easy and timely, and location was great for our visit to lower Manhattan.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable. The only exception was the sleep sofa which should be replaced. The mattress was terrible. Service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. The rooms were clean. We enjoyed our stay. They accommodated us in every way possible. We had a room with a view of New York City. It was amazing.

Overall the hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice but not enough seats so had to take our food to the room. Only complaint is the hot water was lukewarm at best so no hot showers and the only place they had drinking water was on the second floor in the gym.

The staff was friendly and wanted to make sure things were going well. The outer doors are locked, but you can get in from the garage. The area around has loud traffic at all times. The Chinese restaurant had good food.

New bed in this Holiday Inn Express gave the room a comfortable feel, literally. Service was marvelous. Desk attendants truly wonderful. Hotel is located conveniently in Jersey so one can get around via Lyft or car easily. Price was right. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of a lounge chair which was necessary to use for sitting in a room with only one other desk chair: It’s a washable surface but we found several unmentionable stains on what is a lovely lounge chair. Kinda gross. Don’t know why it was overlooked by cleaning staff.

The magnetic lock didn’t work on my room so every time I left my room I had to pack up my entire suitcase and hope that someone didn’t enter my room while I was gone.

I liked the rooms they were roomy and spacey. Very comfortable and clean ! What I didn’t like was that the train is like a 20 min walk. Other than that it was great.

Absolutely horrible staff, horrible customer service and the lady who checked me in shouldn't be at front desk at all, no manners whatsoever. The moment i reached the front desk she didn't even said hello or if i need any help. She goes give me your ID. Parking is $30 per night , expensive than NY. The next morning while checking out same behavior from the morning shift , i said good morning and the lady gave me the weirdest look i have never seen before. Who is running this place??? Breakfast is nothing near average. Not a single bottle of water in the room and you have to buy from the kiosk. Please teach some manners to your staff. Never coming back nor i will recommend this place to anyone.

Great stay at the hotel. It is near the tunnel and convenient for us using Uber to get around. Parking is basically on the street or valet. Very small breakfast seating area

The hotel is in a very good location, you can walk for 10 min to get to the Newport PATH station. There is a Best Buy and Target nearby. Breakfast is good but if you stay more than a week you start getting tired of the same food every day.

Very nice room, very clean and super comfy beds! The staff was very friendly and helped us with clear directions to get to Manhattan. The breakfast buffet is very goos as well. Definitely will stay again!

Nice, family friendly place with full breakfast. Very close to Holland tunnel. Definitely would recommend. If you are going to park during your stay, be advised of two thibgs: (1) Parking costs $30 per night extra. (2) To get that parking, you need to call the property ahead of time to add this to your booking. Expedia does not inform this while booking and parking is limited. Out of the 4 nights we stayed, we parked the car outside on the street the first night! And btw the parking staff (yes it is valet only, once you get the parking) are very nice and friendly!

We had a good stay and appreciate the customer service we received. The beds were comfortable the AC was great and it was reasonable and clean, nice for a Holiday Inn.

The traffic was horrible. I ended up arriving at midnight. I could not find the parking lot under the Hotel, it was not clearly signed. The room was very hot and humid. The lady at the counter and parking support were help full and friendly.
