This place was great. Great restaurant, and the elephants seemed very happy! The AC worked well once you ran it for a while. It's a little bit rustic so don't expect perfection. Bugs can get through the cracks in the floor/etc. but it was well maintained and cleaned so we had no issues.

Well kept facility and surrounding area. Side note- sliding glass doors are extremely clean so be careful not to run into them, although it did make for a good laugh.

If you are looking for an unforgettable hotel experience near Chiang Mai, do not pass on Elephant and Friends. Our driver Pai, all the hotel staff, and tour guide Sam were some of the kindest people. We are so grateful to have spent two nights of our honeymoon at Elephant and friends.
The best part of this experience was the Elephant Friends. All the elephants were beautiful gentle animals that provided us an amazing experience. All the mahouts showed they truly cared for their elephant and there was a mutual relationship. Spend the extra money and Book the full day experience, eat at the restaurant and enjoy the fantastic hospitality and service at this remarkable place in Mae Wang. Thank you for an experience we will cherish forever. 🇨🇦
